Not even a year and not fully bright anymore
I have several of these light strands for my kitchen and two have already decreased their brightness for under the counter and they are separating from the bottom of the cabinet, so the tape is weak.

Remote doesn’t work
The lights look great. The tape wasn’t super sticky and I had to add additional two-sided tape to some areas. Also, the remote control does not work. I’m going to try to get a new remote somehow since the lights are already installed.

Best lights ever.
I installed two of these sets on dedicated circuits on high built in drywall shelves/bays to create defused lighting. Make sure the area you are ataching to is clean and recently painted with a sheen to it. The strip lights will adhere better. Also the light reflects off of the white ceiling/floor of shelf. A darker color on the back wall will increase the mood lighting. The remote unit has to be placed where it can receive the signal from the remote. I do not recommennd cutting the strip even if it is designed to do so. The connectors do not make a a good connection.
