EDIT: I originally bought this item in April. Used it several times, but not even every day. I thought it worked beautifully. Then, it stopped connecting to Bluetooth, which was the whole reason I purchased it. The company came back with a swift response in the same business day, and sent out a replacement immediately. I was happy again. However, this new product is also defective, as the button to turn the lights/display off doesn't work (it did on the original). It drives me mad wanting to use this for nighttime and having that bright light in my face.I tried contacting the company again, and it's been days without a response. I sent an email last week. Bummed out that I really liked this company and product, but I feel it's just a waste of money and kind of a headache to deal with this now after two defective Bluetooth speakers. For the cost, I certainly expected at the very least, a working product.I was skeptical about this product because I was not familiar with oth the brand, and was considering buying it against brand name speakers that had been refurbished (putting them in the same general price range). I went with this one.I'm incredibly happy with the sound for the size of the product. I wanted something that had decent bass without sounding muddy. I put on a variety of songs when testing it out and thought they all sounded really good. I'm also impressed that it can be used as an alarm clock and includes FM radio. I actually ended up purchasing another product along with this one by the same brand, and both products have been great. The company has sent emails with each product assuring prompt support if needed.

Update: After about a month and a half the speaker just stopped while I was listening to it. No music, no time, no lighting and no beeps prior to stopping. I thought the battery needed charging (and just didn't hear the beep) but it would not charge. I got the red flashing light in back but nothing else.I contacted Soaiy through the Amazon message and told them of the issue. They were AMAZING. A very quick reply to the problem by replacing the speaker at no charge to me. Their response and correction was immediate, less than 24 hours, and the fix was to replace the speaker entirely. I am now awaiting arrival of the new speaker and will update this again in the future with the total outcome.I love this for a replacement of iHome speaker for traveling in my car. Unfortunately, the iHome worked as an alarm clock with music and this only give an alarm clock tone. The sound is full and rich and the synchronized lighting is fun. The 24 hour clock is a challenge but I am getting better at subtracting 12 from the hours past noon.

Incredible sound quality.However the low frequencies seem to be too much for the subwoofer to handle, but if you control the volume you can achieve incredible fidelity.Unfortunately, the unit is too unreliable to keep plugged in for an alarm clock.After a while, the unit stops automatically charging itself, and the battery begins to die. The numbers become glitchy, and you have to unplug and plug the unit back in, and set the clock again. You have to do this about every 3 days, and becomes frustrating. If they figured out the charging to be more reliable it would be one hot buy, but cannot recommend because of the unreliability.

This is a great product! I am very pleased! Oddly, it uses military/European time rather than AM and. PM, but that’s easy enough to get used to. The sound is great and I love the bass feature. I like its portability and the fact it has a long battery life before needing to be charged again. The two alarm feature is great too, although I have not yet used it. Finally, the varying colored lights add a bit of fun. I am very satisfied with my purchase!

After 10 months the clock stoped working. It flashes to jibberish every 30 seconds. If I unplug it for a bit, it is fine for a while but goes back to tweaking out after a few hours. I suppose it should not stay plugged in but it shouldn't have been a problem. It also doesn't keep a charge very long anyway. Now it dies immediately after being unplugged.It sounds awesome-ish. There is a faint buzz when the music is paused. I don't hear it when the music is on. Bluetooth connects quickly. The colors are cool. Bass mode sounds great. I can't figure out how to change the clock to 12 hour format. I guess I'll got used to military time.

We ordered two of these speakers, one worked good the second one power cycles itself randomly about every 10 seconds. The battery is fully charged on it, it just doesn’t work. Wish I had checked both as soon as they arrived instead of waiting, now we are stuck with a broken speaker

I love how this easily fits in my bags. I take this on the boat, by the pool, outside, around the house. It stays charged for a good amount of time and the sound quality I great

The bass and features of this alarm were a great value, my only problem was I couldn’t change the 24h format to 12 and the person it was bought for cant read military time but overall great value
