I used this device to cut my kitties nails. It was very sharp and made the job easy, it performed perfectly. They also sent a PDF explaining how to perform the job. That helped greatly, I was edgy about doing this and between the great product and the instructions, it worked perfectly.

My cat does not and never will like his nails trimmed. But he hates going to the vet even more. So the old boy has to put up with me trimming his claws. These work much better than a previous pair of clippers I had, and cut more cleanly, leaving less roughness. The only problem I have is not with the product, it is with the cat! The only way I can get all his front claws is to sit at the desk with him on my lap, pushed close enough to the desk so that it's harder for him to wiggle away from me. But it works - most of the time. I can usually get one of two back nails at a time, when he's sprawled out sleeping. Happy with the purchase, and would buy again.

These are the best scissors we've ever used on our two cats' nails. They cut a nice, straight, clean cut and it takes us less than half the time to cut their nails with them, than it has with any other scissors or clippers we've tried.. I tried a more expensive nail clipper that claimed it was very sharp, but was very difficult to use and left my cat with hangnails. I decided to get this one to try it out, and it works perfectly. Combined with a (separately purchased) $15 grooming bag, this ultimately saved me lots of money and time because I can clip both of my cats' nails at home and don't have to deal with stressing them out by taking them to the groomer or the vet for nail clipping. My cats are extremely resistant to any kind of nail clipping, hence the need for the grooming bag. All in all, these are good and sharp nail clippers. Highly recommend. They even come with a nail clipping guide in PDF format if you are unsure how to do it.

I love these clippers. They are very sharp and cut extremely well! I had used regular nail clippers but wasn’t satisfied with how they left the nail. It was cracked and then had more shedding of the sheath. I had trouble holding mainly as I have major arthritis issues in hands. I looked at the ones with handles like a pair of pliers and realized they would slip. I read reviews and studied this type. This seemed like the best option for me. They are great!!! They don’t slip around. I have steady secure hold and they are small enough that they don’t scare my cat at all. Not painful in any way to hold onto. Wish I had bought these before and saved myself so much hassle and also they are great for my cat. Old large cat nail clippers I have used became dull and they are bulky and ackward. I feel like ordering an extra pair to have on hand! Highly recommend!

These claw clippers are excellently designed and easy to handle. Now if only my cat would let me near her to cut her claws, we'd all be happy. Alas, that's not about to happen. :(
