The head isn’t the great tuff material and I’m sure we’ll end up with headless turkeys. We have a lot of tuff toys and they last so long. Still have ones we got 3 years ago. Just not the normal durability we’ve been use to. The legs and head are where our pups find best to pick up and hold which just aren’t tuff.

Nice to find this group of junior size Tuffy's for my puppy, these are seriously strong toys, well constructed, good fabric, and will last a long time. My older dog already swiped one from the puppy playpen, so good for adults also. Highly recommend.

Our Lab DESTROYS EVERY STUFFED TOY she is given! This product held up better than any other stuffed pricey “indestructible “ stuffed toy we have tried. I may buy another???

I love Thanksgiving so of course I had to get my granddawg a turkey toy. I was hoping it would last a little bit. She has had it for 2 days. I'm not mad though. She has had a blast this weekend "killing" the turkey. She is a beagle/foxhound mix. I think the company should hire her on as a toy tester. If they can withstand her then the toy should go to market. 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤣😅🤣😅

I wasn’t impressed with this at all and the company got to hear about it via email. I also got a refund. This is a 7/10 TUFFY toy, and my dog had the nose gone within a week. I tried to sew it back up, but each time he’d go right back to that spot, the one spot that isn’t black seamed, and destroy it. The toy had to be retired. On the plus side, the toy is huge, which was great for my 80 pound puppy. He was also totally obsessed with it. We played tug with it, and I should mention that within a single game of tug one of the wings came clean off, which was a shocker. Beloved or not, this toy was a safety hazard for my dog and did not hold up to its TUFFY rating in my opinion. It’s also insanely expensive for a toy that can’t hold up. Not impressed. Sadly don’t recommend. I don’t purchase any TUFFY toy below a 10 TUFFY rating, but those aren’t as cute, nor does my dog find them as alluring (we have the basic round donut and the octopus).

I only purchased this since I thought it would be cute for the Thanksgiving season. The patterning of the turkey is very cute.This turkey is not as large as the T-Rex, so maybe for a lab sized dog it is a good size.I'm concerned that the feet will be coming off within a few days, so I won't let Mama play with this alone. She may surprise me and it lasts a while. That has happened before.I like to come back and update my reviews on items like this since I know at this price for a toy it's nice to hear about the longevity.Photos posted. Item arrived yesterday, 10/25/13. This morning it is still intact.11/3-I am a few days behind on this update. Suffice it to say that the first part to go was the beak. Apparently she had it when no one was paying attention. I can only blame myself. I'm going to try and sew the hole shut where the beak was and give it back to her.1/3/14- Sewed beak shut and returned to dog. Dog immediately opened a seam in the back of the turkey's head. She can't get any stuffing out of the head so it seems to be lasting still. Recently she focused her attention on Howie the Horse (see my updated review there) and the turkey has been sitting alone in the basket.

My 70lb. pitbull mix is a heavy chewer. His nickname is "**** the Destroyer". Regular stuffed animals are typically ripped to shreds in under 60 seconds. I've gotten him some other stuffed animals from this brand and had pretty good success. NOTHING is "indestructable" to my dog, some things just take longer. Some of their other products have remained in serviceable condition for a few good weeks, so I decided to get him this one during Thanksgiving season. I removed any loose threads and inspected it before I let my doggy have at it, and to ME it felt very tough. Well, it lasted a few hours, but if there is ANY vulnerable spot, my dog will find it, guaranteed. And in this case it was the legs. Doggy was able to rip a leg off, leaving a huge weak spot, and it was all over from there (the toughest castle with the strongest walls is pointless if there's a flimsy little door around back that can easily be kicked in!) My dog loves a challenge, and quite frankly I think he was a little disappointed the turkey put up such a weak fight. This would probably last ages for a light chewer, but for a stuffed animal connoiseur with a strong neck and jaws, the turkey might come up short.

We got this for our Chow mix as kind of a Thanksgiving present and it's still going strong. She has had quite a few of these toys; the pig, the crab, the lobster, the squid and many others I can't remember right now. She's a chewer so eventually they do bite the dust but it's worth it to us to watch the fun she has. And just the fact that a chew toy can last for months is amazing to me. We will continue to buy these! I have my eye on the dragon!

If this is a true Tuffy toy tested on tigers and lions, then it should be tested on terriers as mine tore the wing off this in approximately 1 hour. Would not buy again.

Excellent manufacture. Even for my 4 kgs little beautiful morkie, Micaela, who is a extremely strong chewer (nylabones even the tough ones dont last with her a day), couldn't beat Talulah!!So know she takes Talulah to her naps and play with her when tired of other toys.I will love to have more smaller versions. Like for small dogs and maybe will added one or tow more squeeze gadgets with different sounds.By far this is the one who has last the longest!!!!! =) =)
