I bought a gun magnet so I could keep one under my desk. I was threatened not long ago and didn't have time to open my desk drawer so I bought one of these.It is the perfect size for my Taurus TH9 Compact. It fits perfectly between the sights so it stays put. The textured rubber surface keeps the gun from sliding or getting scratched. You could chamber one without it coming loose. It holds very well and will not fall if bumped. I tested a magnet on the slide before mounting and it was hard to pull off. Your gun will not fall! Still haven't decided where to mount the second one. I love them and will eventually get more of them.Pics of box contents and mounted pistol.It only took me a minute to install it with my cordless drill. Attach with the tape and then screw once in place. Use the included screws and do NOT trust tape to hold a gun.

Amazing magnets! Holds very well.
Holds very well for the size! Spaced out, it holds a full sized AR, or a pistol and extra mag very well and solidly in a headboard cutout.I intend to get some for my office desk as well, these magnets are very strong. I would guess they’re about the strength of N48/N50 neodymium magnets? I might have that a little off, but they’re incredibly strong and hold very well. I like that there are two sizes of screws so you don’t really have to dig through too much wood to secure them.It holds the weapons tight, but then they release easily as well as when accessing the weapon. I don’t think they would be too secure to restrict weapon retrieval, but they’re plenty strong enough to withstand shaking in a bed, flopping down into bed, or even moving the frame around. Totally great items! Highly recommended and easy to install.

Wow! Crazy strong magnet.
His keeps my hand gun in place. The magnet is super strong, when I first opened the package I put the magnet on my metal TV stand and it took two hands to get it off. But for my gun it’s perfect.

Wow! What power!
When these guys are stuck together, it really takes some effort to pull apart. While I have no doubt they'll easily hold a gun anywhere you desire I'm actually opting not to go that way. I have a 9mm and even a CCW--it has nothing to do with guns . So why purchase, well I wanted a strong magnet for my sewing room. I have a cutting/work table separate from my sewing machine table and when I'm working on a project, my expensive solid metal sewing shears can get lost in the piles of the current project.. I plan to attach this to the underside of my cutting table, I can keep my shears out of the way when I'm not actually using them, and quickly grab and replace after use. The magnet is long and strong enough that I can keep a few types of shears within reach and know they're safely secured when not in use.

Super strong magnet!
Bought this to hold up some junk at the office. This magnet is very, very strong. It you put it against a solid piece of metal, it takes some pretty real strength to yank it off, I would wager if you're using it to hold up a fully metal gun, it would hold over 35 pounds, but I'm using it for lighter things. Tried it on my all metal pistol, it holds perfectly, and it's actually a bit hard to yank the gun off (but with the grip it's not really that difficult).Follow the directions and don't just use the tape, you have to screw this thing in. The tape/adhesive will fail way before the magnet does, unless what you're holding up is barely metal and/or light.

Very strong and gentle
These magnets are legit. I bought them after just browsing through some gun holsters and I'm glad I picked them up. I put one underneath my desk and yes perfect for concealing!The screw holes are lined up perfectly, and the gun rail sticks to it very firm.It does not scratch up my gun at all. The material they used over the magnet is kinda hard rubberish.Tons of applications for it..

Useful non-scratching magnet even if you don't have a gun
I wanted a magnet that wouldn't scratch up my Python's enclosure while still being strong enough to hold my hygrometer. I searched for a magnet that was rubberized and came across these gun magnets. It's strong enough to hold something securely without having to worry about having small magnets that my cats could eat (sometimes the python pulls the hygrometer down and the magnets fall).It works really well, it was packaged nicely, and just works. I don't have a handgun to try it with but it certainly feels like it could hold one up no problem.

These are awesome. Very strong and secure hold on your firearm. The rubberized surface protects from scratches. It has a fingerprint like surface with small textured ridges that are made of soft rubber. This keeps your gun from sliding around. They come with two different sets of screws for different applications. Really great value. They work well for long guns too. If mounted on a wall or inside safe on vertical surface a long gun barrel will stick and stay where tpu want it. I still be purchasing more.
