Great if your child is happy to wear it, but like most of childhood they'll make the decision
I bought this as my 12 month old developed a habit of headbutting anything and everything when he got upset or frustrated, to the point of leaving a bruise on his forehead if it happened to be a particularly hard surface. Despite stuntman-like agility and a past life as a ninja, I often couldn't intercept the beginning of the headbutting sequence in time.Investing in the helmet I was ready to take back control. The next time my son started hulk-smashing with his head I'd leap in, strap him up and let him realise these efforts were now futile. Then we'd sit down and baby-sign things through to reach a mutual understanding. That's how I saw it playing out.It wasn't long before the first tantrum started. I was prepared with the helmet having assembled it in advance. After a swift (and ignored) warning of what was to come, my son's head quickly encased in protective foam. Winner! He tried to headbutt the floor only to be met with a parentally-satisfying soft tap. However my joy was short-lived when he proceeded to easily pull the whole thing off with relative ease and headbutt my laughing face. No matter how much you tighten the straps, and you can only do so to a point as they fix under the baby's chin, they have some elasticity and give to them which means the helmet can just be pulled off. This would be useful for a chilled-out baby who doesn't mind wearing it, but not one that is already full of rage who doesn't want something strapped to their head. Unfortunately it went back in the box.

Not breathable .
This has helped my little boy from so many bumps but to say it's breathable is not 100% correct. My son's hair is soaked after he wears this. And he needs a safety hat for long term as his balance is poor . So I need to look for something else he overheats wearing this brand .

Its a good product with 50-50 success chance.
Its a great product for the safety of young children. Although it has much adjustments availale to fit various head size and stretchable strap to secure it; it is not staying any longer than 2 mins on my babys head. I have tried readjusting the strap and velcro adjustments at rear side but sadly its not staying for long. But still using it for a peace of mind but we had to reposition it correctly every now and then. As i said its a great product, but im bit unlucky.

Peace of mind for the parent
Great product. My youngster was notorious for banging his head off everything, even the padded items. No matter how I baby proofed the place... Nightmare! Got him this and I had the added comfort that it was an added protection. Did the job and reduce the level of stressful moments.

Baby accepted this
I was worried this would be another product baby rejects but fortunately he got used to it fast and I am very reassured that he won’t hurt his head wearing this. It is thick enough, seems comfortable to wear. Only drawback is the system to tie it under the chin, wasn’t strong enough, so I had to make an improvisation.

A Must Have
This product had been a life saver! We have granite and oak flooring in the house, it was heart stopping every time my little one was trying to pull himself up and he took a tumble. This helmet is constantly on his head until he is able to walk confidently! When he falls, he gets back up and there are no tears!Took a while for my son to get used to it being on his head but now he has stopped tugging at it!
