Nice LED bulb
I use the bulbs over my desk in can lights and they light up my work area much better than the incandescent bulbs they replaced.

Cold Color
The color of this light is bluish green and quite harsh. It's bright enough for the application, but the color is very off-putting. The description says color is "daylight". I would say that's only true if it's daylight in an ice castle.

3 of 9 failed within the first year
LEDs in general last decades, but these seem to have terrible reliability. We have 6 in our kitchen and have now had three fail within a year of having bought them. I like the bulb... when they work.

Purchased on Feb 20, 2014. Bulb was on ~ 4 hours per day. Failed August 21, 2014.

nice light goes out by itself
it goes out after 6 minutes and then on again. Works well - not bright enough for my location
This was for a spot fixture in my kitchen to replace an incandescent. Light levels are so subjective and I was hoping the light quality and intensity would work but it did not do well. Not a bad light but not right for my location.

Green
I am looking for LED replacements for 3 - capslite 50w halogens in pendants over our dinner table.This was the latest candidate and the latest failure.Though listed at 3000K the lamp has a definite green cast to it's light especially in comparison to the halogen.Some of the other LED attempts have actually been closer than this one.Keep this in mind before ordering.
