This is my favorite of the series. Artemis has to extend himself physically, unusual for him. Great relationship with Short.

After buyin the first book to try and get my brothers to read failed and I got the opportunity to read the first one all by myself I decided I wanted the sequel as a graohic novel too. Really fun being able to read and see your story at the same time. A good way to make a favorite stoey new again.

Excellent fun to read. The chacters are all moving forward. Remarkable plot twists and turns. Superb illustations. Already downloading the next volume. Somebody has to have this lined up for a movie.

Artemis Fowl: The Arctic Incident Graphic Novel has the same storyline as the book. The art is good and characters are easy to see against the backgrounds. There is a lot of action in this book, and so the graphic novel makes it easier to see the actions as they happen.For those who never heard of Artemis Fowl, you've been missing out. Look up the books for a more detailed review. The first book in the series is titled simply Artemis Fowl. The publishers just reprinted the books with new covers, so they should be easy to find. It's a great series.

Just great, couldn't stop laughing. Artwork is sensational, also whoever programmed in pans and zooms did an incredible job, perfect.

First time ever reading a graphic novel actually, very entertaining though, kinda small text but not too difficult. The downside was the pages easily fell out in the middle. I have 6 pages that are out of the book from light use. Good story, definitely kept me entertained for the 3 hour read.

My 11 year old son loves these graphic novels. This is the second Artemis Fowl graphic novel he's had, and he seized it with glee when he unwrapped it (it was a birthday present). The illustrations are sumptuous, with great colours and thick glossy pages. The whole book has a quality feel to it and the stories really come to life. The graphic novel format is terrific for these action adventures, and in no way should it be dismissed as a comic book. If you want your children to watch less TV, but can't get them to read a book, then try this. The novelty might just lure them to reach for that off switch. I can't think of a better stocking filler for Christmas.

Bit pricey but worth it for my reluctant reader

OK, I gave up and I decided to read the second Artemis Fowl graphic novel as well. Yeah, I found a second-hand copy.I really like the way the plot is adapted into a graphic novel but... I'm not sure I like the art. I mean, sometimes I have the feeling that the faces are too angular and you know, being an avid manga reader, I think that the eyes are too small and I can't read any emotion in them.In addition, I don't like the colors. Really, when I first read Artemis Fowl, in my mind the setting was bright and very emerald green. Here you have a sort of green-bluish for all the panels set in the underworld; purple for those dedicated to Opal; brownish for those set at school or in Paris; while the ones in Russia are bluish.Guys, life's already dark by itself, use some colors!!Will I read the third one? Well, it depends if I can find a cheap copy!
