Decent smaller paddleboard, pump didn't work
This paddle board is a good option for someone smaller (<150 lbs) and inflates quickly compared to similar thicker 10' paddle boards...when a functional pump and valve are part of the equation. Upon arrival the pump wouldn't stay put in the paddle board without a second set of hands (other brands I've tried do not have this issue). So a new rubber washer was sent by the company. This did not fix the issue. Customer service sent a new pump and valve with poor instructions on how to replace/fix the issue. I had to figure it out myself because I am not a paddle board mechanic and didn't know the terminology used to explain the fix. 3 weeks later I have an ok product but customer service and product quality leaves a little bit to be desired.

I like it once ready
So it took a good 10 minutes and honestly a second person to blow up because my arms were jello at 10 psi. But once blown up it rides pretty nice. Carrying the board and putting it into the water was easy enough- easier than my kayaks. I haven’t tried emptying and Tranporting, but I did try on the full backup and it was manageable.

Great for our daughter who is a beginner
Great paddleboard with everything included. Our daugher loves it, it is easy to deal with and works well. Very stable and looks great. We had a problem with the connector on the hose being loose, (not the paddleboard) which we probably could have fixed with glue. Contacted the seller and they shipped us a whole new hose and pump the next day. Great experience and i would buy from them again. Paddleboard and all equipment is great.

PUMP BROKE
My bag did rip when i first got it but I got a replacement at no extra cost to me which was great. It is easy to inflate but once you get closer to 10PSI it becomes a challengeThe pump has since busted and I have a hard time using it but I can still manage I would like to get a replacement but I am not sure If I am able to ask for one since my bag was also replaced.Other than that it is pretty thick. I cant quite stand on it but I blame it on my own balance and weight

Cheap quality
The pump hose didn’t stay in so you had to hold it and push it in at a weird angle to keep it sealed. I have to put my entire body weight (not small) on it to get it to 15psi which I still couldn’t get it to and it goes banana. I’m 170lbs and it bananas badly with me. Second time blowing it up, my hose broke completely. Bag broke within 2 weeks as well.

The light paddle but low accessories quality
I just received and I didn’t use it yet , but the zip of the black carry bag is Brocken on both sides , how can I carry it ? I bought an inflatable paddle to carry it all around but if the carry bag is Brocken it is difficult to do it.Is it possible to received another one ? Otherwise I will send everything back

Great paddle board - cheap bag
Hard to review the board poorly because of the bag but both zippers broke the first time using the bag. Makes it impossible to transport unless you purchase another bag. Cheapest zippers I have ever encountered. Board functions very well and is easy to inflate. Overall rating with quality bag would have easily been a 5. Gave it a 3 so that review would be read.

Great quality and value!
I absolutely love this paddle board! It comes with lots of extras, and is very lightweight. I had another brand for years, and this one is better in every way. It even has a shoulder strap (which helps make carrying it even easier!) I'm very happy with this product's quality and affordability. Definitely recommended!

Price is amazing for the quality, £400 is more like it
I’ve been on a few solid sups before, surfed and owned a kayak but fancied an inflatable sup because my car can’t get roof bars.Having not used an inflatable sup before I was skeptical about which to buy, spent a good week or 2 reading reviews on various websites, watching videos of testing and comparing ratings and prices...After a solid amount of research and having been somewhat persuaded by the comments on this page I gave in a week ago and bought it.It arrived this week (also bought a new wetsuit)... and it arrived really very fast (uk Cardiff, 3/4 days. My wetsuit came early this morning, and I couldn’t wait for the weekend so tried it out today...I previously pumped the board up on instant arrival, and from opening it and inflating all the gear was incredibly well made. Period. If you’re sceptical about the price like I was - really, it is a bargain.Inflation was around 3minutes maybe slightly less, although I might mention the last 10 pumps are a workout.Super light weight to carry (obviously)... having used it on a river today & in an open bay I can safely say this thing is worth your money. If you’re comparing a few, and are below intermediate standard, maybe just getting into it, or thinking about buying it as a gift - I highly reccomend.Made of incredibly thick material, all sealed and manufactured well. All accessories are pretty high end stuff (especially the large bag). After maybe 5 minutes of understanding the balance require for an inflatable you’ll be over the moon. Super relaxing when just paddling along, and also pretty killer when thrashing it for some speed! Can safely say this things gunna bring me some joy this summer.10/10Hope this review helps anyone***updateSo I’ve had this kit for maybe 2/3 months now. And previously wrote my car couldn’t get roof bars- I could - so I bought some, and a kayak... I’ve been out on this board maybe 8/10 times now, some alone some with a mate- I can happily say if you’re debating this or a kayak go for this. You’d think this is a bit more boring but it really isn’t, when out on the kayak with a mate on this after 10 minutes I’m dying to stand up and paddle. There really is no comparing it in terms of relaxing and going at your own pace on the water - it’s great. Some things I might add:The pump broke a few weeks ago while I was out with a club- I was gutted. The nozzle end glue was pretty poor so it just needed glueing back on with some better stuff so this was an easy fix.. although the last 3 times I’ve used the pump I’m not sure whether the seals broken or whether I’m going crazy, but it seems to play up some times. Finally - I can’t remeber the recommended max weight for this thing, but I think it’s heavier than me. I’m 12.2 stone, 5’9 and I’d say I’m over heavy for it- when out with a sup club the guys all said I looked too heavy for it (with 16 psi in it- recommended is 15-17). It dips a fair amount in the middle with my weight, weirdly comparing it to other boards the thickness/height of it (not length or width) is pretty shallow- almost half of that of most boards- think this has something to do with it.If you’re looking for something to go on the open sea with every week I’d say go for something else (for safety, buoyancy & balance) - though for general paddling & some enjoyment over summer on some lakes, rivers or in a bay id say this is well worth it if you don’t wanna pay 500+For me, despite the small negatives, I bl**dy love it!

Phew, was a bit worried
I live in Spain and I'm a complete beginner, having never set foot on a Paddle Board of any kind.I bought this board without really researching what was available and the type to suit my 85kg 6' body. I guess I just got carried away by the 5* reviews on Amazon and ordered it on impulse. Before it even arrived I noticed an update from another reviewer who is 10kg lighter than me, saying that as the board is only 4" thick it sits quite low on the water, which is not considered a good thing for a beginner, as it lessens the stability.I then started to worry that I had ordered the wrong board for my weight. I contacted James (supplier) for some advice. He offered to change the board for the longer and thicker Max model. However, the shipping back to the UK made it not worth it. So I decided I would give it a go.Simultaneously, my friend (also a novice) bought a different brand board which was longer and thicker than mine. This was great because it allowed us to try each others out and compare.Today we tried them out and I am happy to report that even though the board does indeed sit much lower in the water, but we both agreed it didn't really have an impact on the stability. I fell off both boards in equal numbers :)In some ways I prefer mine, as being closer to the water, the experience somehow felt more immersive (no pun intended). To sum up my feelings about this SUP; I think it's good value for money. The additional items are certainly good enough quality for the price. The pump does the job well as long as you know to adopt the 'arms locked, 1/4 pump from your knees' for the last few psi. (5 minutes).Although this review is based on my initial first experience and I will update it once I'm in a position to form an opinion about it's durability over the next few months, for the time being I am happy to recommend buying this board (if you are 85kg or under).Hope this helps.**UPDATE** 28.10.18As you can see from the picture, I took my bog standard reclining beach chair and strapped it to those handy little hooks with simple straps.Absolutely brilliant. Completely stable and so much easier as your weight is so much lower. Not a bad idea to invest in a kayak paddle. So relaxing to paddle out, recline the chair and just chill. 👍🏻

Good board but accessories very poor
I bought this having read through other reviews which were mostly very positive. I was very excited to take my new paddleboard out as soon as possible, however due to work commitments I had to eagerly await a free weekend to get out on the water. Being slightly impatient, I decided to at least unpack everything to see what it was like and I was happy with what looked to be a good product. Finally after several weeks we had friends visiting who also own a board and a car so I took this out for its maiden voyage. Unfortunately I was sadly disappointed by a couple of things. Firstly, the board comes with a rucksack to carry it in. You would expect it to be made of a suitable of material for the product weight, but within 5 minutes of carrying it from the car one of the straps tore away from the base of the bag. This was frustrating as the board, although manageable, is not exactly light. Carrying it the remainder of the way by alternating between the one remaining strap and the handle on the top of the bag was pretty awkward. When we eventually reached our launch site we unpacked and got to work trying to inflate the board using the pump provided. Cue issue number two! The pump has a locking mechanism so that it will stay attached to the board's valve while you inflate it and to fix it in you need to twist. However after multiple attempts, none of us could get the pump to attach. This was mostly because the hub of the mechanism is small meaning that to twist it you end up twisting the pump hose which is far too flimsy and just crumples. Overall the pump was useless. The only way it could be used was by holding it in place, which became near imposdible as the pressure increased. Luckily our friends' pump had the same mechanism which meant that we were able to use our board rather than returning it un-inflated to the car (to sit alongside the now redundant one-armed backpack).Once on the water the board was fine. Easy to manoeuvre, buoyant enough for a single person, decent size for beginners etc. The deck is sufficiently coated so that it doesn't feel slippery when you stand and the leash is a good length... minus the other issues, I probably would've felt really enthusiastic about the board as once on the water it was great. However the fact that I currently either need to buy another pump or borrow a friend's in order to use it again is annoying. The pump provided just isn't fit for purpose (maybe ours was just defective and if the vendor feels this is the case then we would welcome a replacement!) Equally I was hoping to be able to transport the kit without a car by using the backpack but unfortunately this is also not fit for purpose - or at least not beyond the first 5 minutes...So in summary! The board itself is good. However the quality of other parts of the kit let it down. The product gets 3 stars as if I'd bought the board as a standalone product it would get 5. However for obvious reasons the kit is sold as a whole and for me the pump and bag would only get a measly 1 star if that. Their quality does make me question how well the board will fair over time, but we will see. To be continued...

Fantastic Product and Customer Service!
The Paddle Board arrived within a few days of ordering and came neatly packed with all the additional items within a single box. I was pleasantly surprised to also note the supplied hand pump is dual action, meaning air will be pumped into the board on both the up and down-strokes.I did initially have difficulty creating a secure seal between the pump hose and the board valve, as was apparent by the slight hiss of air escaping. I also seemingly overtightened the hose connector to the board and ended up twisting the hose apart. I have however been extremely impressed with the customer service of Aquaplanet upon emailing them about this and their speed to ship an alternative hose (now working fantastically) without any question - thank you Aquaplanet! This board is great for beginners such as myself and very sturdy. I am quite small at 5'5" and weight 60kg, but have had no difficulty in carrying the board fully inflated or staying on it once afloat. I have also used this both on the sea and a calm river - both experiences as fun and straightforward to establish as each other.I am very impressed with the product and more-so the service of Aquaplanet and will have no hesitation in purchasing from them again in the future.

Recommend for first timers like me
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I bought one of these for my husbands birthday in October 17 and bought it purely because the reviews were so good. We both had a go and had great fun and then I took the board out all on my own. Pumping it up is a little warm up before you get going and if your a beginner like me I'd recommend watching a few youtube videos first so you stand correctly and put the paddle the right way otherwise you just fall off, like me. The board is big enough and sturdy enough so I've just bought myself one too. Didn't take long to get the hang of it. And its £100 cheaper than I paid the first time! Highly recommend this for first time sup'ers.
