Easy installation and better coverage th Koop an Con Tact brand
I previously did my shelves in white Con Tact brand self-adhesive. Bought it because it was white, cheaper and more square footage for a rental property. The installation was soul crushing. Even with Windex it’s thin, flimsy and difficult to install and it nicked/ripped easily. After it was finished… I didn’t like it. The color was optic white - it looked like a morgue and the dark wood underneath bled through. So the color was horrible. I bought DC fix self-adhesive hoping for better results. And I was delighted! Installation was much much easier, the color is a pleasant white - still a pure white but no blue undertones - and no dark wood bleed through, its thick/hardy and the texture makes it interesting. Save your sanity do not get Con tact Brand and buy this.

Looks beautiful!
I always use these adhesives on my cabinets and this one is my favorite one. It’s really smooth and has just a bit of pearl shine to it, I love it. The quality is really great, this one cuts evenly without shredding and sticks easily making the “install” process breazy without bubbling up. It cleans up nicely too. This is a must purchase!

Looks great, soul-crushingly difficult to apply.
I have been designing displays for my statues and collectibles. I wanted a dark wood exterior to match the room, but a bright white interior to make the brightly-colored toys “pop”. My solution was either to paint or go with some sort of paper. Given my shelves were from IKEA and laminate, painting would have been a huge hassle, so I found this paper.First, from a looks perspective, it’s amazing. From across the room looks EXACTLY like painted white wood. The grain is great and it even has that feel. Works wonders in my shelves. The bad: this stuff is a 10/10 in difficulty to work with. It is obscenely unforgiving in terms of ANY mistake. It is extremely adhesive once you pull the backing off. If you need to reposition, forget about it. You’ll end up stretching it beyond repair.Next, ANY imperfection or particle (I’m talking the smallest speck of dust) will produce a large bubble or bump in the paper. It doesn’t matter how clean you think the surface is. Trust me, you’ve missed something. And the less porous the surface, the less forgiving the paper is.If you need to line it up against an edge, forget about it. If you’re off by a fraction of a millimeter you’ll end up with an extremely skewed application by the time you reach the other side. I’m honestly not 100% convinced this is perfectly straight. You’re better off leaving a lot of overhang and trimming (if possible). Unfortunately due to the few options with sizes, sometimes you HAVE to make a join. This is impossible without it being very noticeable. There is simply no way you’ll ever exactly line up two pieces without a seam. Finally, if you’re trying to cover a very long area, it’s extremely difficult to unroll the paper while trying to get it flat. You have to keep removing the backing as you go, otherwise it will bunch up underneath. But if you mess up and the adhesive back gets stuck to the front of the paper, it’s game over for that roll. It’s a nightmare to try and get it unstuck. Goo gone won’t phase it and you’ll end up ruining the roll trying to pull it apart. If this is the look you’re going for, by all means it looks phenomenal once you get it on. But do yourself a favor and order 3x how much you think you’ll need. Trust me. I’ve placed a dozen or more orders. Nothing is worse than being close to finishing a project at 11PM on a Sunday and trashing your last roll.

VERY subtle design, vinyl is grooved
Not exactly what I hoped it would be. It sticks well and seems thick/sturdy. The wood grain is embossed into the plastic, so it is only obvious if you run your hand across it. From 5 inches away, it just looks white. Those grooves also look look they'd collect dirt and look nasty. I wanted to use it on a counter. I'll look for something else that has the appearance of painted wood.

Wood Grain Shows Up Well in Poorly Lit Areas - Not Recommended For Bright Kitchen
There are many negative reviews of this product so I thought I'd chime in and defend the product. First of all, have realistic expectations. If you want thick, rich wood grain be prepared to spend A LOT of money for a product like 3M Di-Noc vinyl. It was my first choice until I saw the price for a roll (over $1,000).I live in an apartment and wanted something to revamp my cabinets, on the cheap. This product did an amazing job. My kitchen is a small, poorly lit pantry so I get the perfect amount of shadow to product a decent wood grain that can be seen from about 5 feet away. There is no gray vein color as it may appear in the photo. The vinyl has a decent thickness and a little stretch to it so it won't tear from slight stretching. As for the pattern, it is a light texture and the grain only shows up from cast shadows from the texture. If you have a modern kitchen with bright lights everywhere I could see how the wood grain would disappear and just look like a high gloss white. For my needs it is perfect. I have had it up for about a week and I have received many compliments. It has totally brightened up my cabinets and given them new life for about $80. No complaints here.

Unable to apply smoothly due to creases in material
The self adhesive film when unrolled, creases were found and is unusable.

Excellent choice
We are using this in our 2009 Sprinter rv. It needed updating but we did not want to paint. The wallpaper was easy to go on and looks like wood. Modernize our unit and lightens the little 24’ u it up. We are very happy with this and would give it a higher rating if we could. I have used many wallpapers in my years and find this to be one of the best peel and stick I have ever used. I highly recommend it to others.

Unique, impressive and amazing good words to describe this product.
It just amazing! See it for yourself in my pictures shown g the improvement I made back in 2015 to my kitchen. I am impressive how durable the material is, in addition, it's very easy to clean. Iits a bit of time consuming specially on the preparation of the surface. You must check that it clean and smooth otherwise it will show. From the very short distance it really looks like wood. What I love the most it doesn't smell. I think it's so durable than now I am remodeling my nightstands. I will upload some pictures of the nightstand whe I am done.
