World Moods

I've been a fan of contemporary sound of ethnic music for over 20 years now. This is a very good and haunting 40-track collection. You get to travel to some far off places with this music. While some of the songs seem a bit out of place (Nina Simone's I Put a Spell on You, N'dour and Cherry's 7 Seconds, Cornershop's Brimful of Asha, etc.), both CDs are really great listening experience and worth recommending. Just lie down in the evening on a sofa, close your eyes and relax. The songs also flow quite nicely together, namely you don't jump suddenly from Ireland to Africa, etc.

This was a second disc of world moods as I had one for years and loved it until it got scratchy. Like buying a completely new one and loving this music all over again. Great to get it so cheap as well!

The cd is good and I love the music as ever, I did have this once before.. but the only issue I had with this was the cd case itself, it is broken and I have had to buy a brand new one so I can actually store without damaging the cd`s,

Great Cd full of varied World music from many decades

Good when it first came out, and still good 20 years on.

I would recommend this CD to anyone, who likes to chill outand relax, take time to think and enjoy.

I bought this thinking it would be a good Xmas present for someone - but once I heard it I couldn't part with it.There's an excellent mix of music & moods - a good taster of the music of different cultures, but in a contemporary style.I've had if a few years now and it still makes me feel good when I play it.

I never get tired of listening to this. I feel a mixture of emotions each time. Wonderful.
