Price has grown faster than the plants
I bought this in 2006 and had same problems with panels blowing loose. Solved to large extent by purchasing more clips (available in any garden store), draught proofing with sylglas tape and for one slightly undersized panel, using a strip of thin alloy under the clips.I have today purchased a spare cartridge for the autovent from Garden Craft.Over all, I have been very pleased. Fitted power point and slimline fluorescent light. In winter, electric heater set to come on at 5C during cheap rate keeps frost out.Price in 2006 was £250.johnep

When in doubt read the instructions
I bought the optional base and placed it on concrete slabs packing slate underneath to get it level and square. I bought the fixing kit but after drilling the first hole with the drill supplied the head of the drill gave up. I decided to concrete the base to the pavers. Working on my own I assembled all the side and front framework in 3 days. With help we got the framework errected. The bolts supplied are very soft and are esily overtightened , the heads shear off too easily. I glazed all the sides and ends, but found that there were two sets of door clips and no roof glazing clips (just 6 in a packet) Gardman customer services told me it would tale a week for the missing clips to be delivered (Delivered today after 6 days) All in all if the instructions are adhered to it is a good greenhouse for the money

Gardman Polycarbonate Greenhouse
NOT FOR THE FAINT HEARTED!!!Instructions confusing in places - diagrams not too clear.Glazing with polycarbonate sheets is a very difficult job. If you persevere you will complete the glazing but your hands will be wrecked! having said that the finished article appears good for the price. Allow 2 days to erect.

What a load of rubbish
If you live anywhere where the wind blows over 10mph forget it. I bought one in March 2010 and have spent a great deal of time chasing polycarbonate panels around the countryside. I have doubled up on clips and bedded them in clear silicone and still they end up in a field somewhere. Last night was the final straw. 4 panels blown out two totally lost, I can't find them anywhere. I now have to try and patch things up somehow otherwise I will lose the plants as well. Buy something more substantial with proper glass!
