Normal hat size is 7 3/8 and I ordered according to the size chart. There is a little extra room around the band but it sits firmly on my head and had no problems walking 2 miles in the wind yesterday afternoon. Seams are tight without puckers or loose threads, very professional craftsmanship. Better noggin coverage in the back means more sun protection than most, which is important if your head is growing through your hair in that area like mine is. I will be ordering some other colors for my birthday with the intention of donating all of my other caps. ThanksIt takes a while to get these but well worth the wait. I will update this later if I encounter any unexpected problems.

I like wearing hats but finding the right size and quality of craftsmanship in this particular size is a challenge. Stetson produces a quality made product at a reasonable price this hat fits comfortably and looks nice. I would buy it again.

I had heard of Stetson for cowboy hats, but this one was a great find! It is well made, looks great, fits well, and is a terrific product for me as I drive around in my Mazda Miata convertible - more classy that a baseball cap.

This is a well-made product with tailoring that suits my taste.I was looking for a flat / ivy / driving cap without a duckbill peak. I was looking for the sides above my ears to be vertical versus spreading out to the sides or tilting inwards.I was also looking for a cap made of natural and animal-friendly products. i.e. no petrochemicals and no wool.I hope to get more of these when they are in stock.

I love stetson. Some of the stitching seems a little iffy but if it gives out I'll fix it easy. I wear a xl in their cowboy hats but a large in cotton hats...I guess I'm in between sizes. Easy solution is to size down and stretch the hat over my knee though

You must pack front brim to maintain shape.

I’ve had allot of flat caps. As a kid, I inherited my grandpa’s and dad’s. Of all the summer flat caps I’ve recently purchased, this is the one I keep wearing. Super comfortable, looks good; understated. Narrow, not puffy. Traditional Stetson quality. I like my other caps, but I keep choosing this one to wear.
