I cut my husbands and boy's hair to save money. I'm not a professional stylist, by any means, but I know just enough not to butcher a cut. A couple weekends ago, my daughter decided to use my good set of scissors to trim our Shih-poo. I didn't think my boys would appreciate me using the dog scissors on them, so I got this set. At first, I was super ticked with her, but now that I've gotten and used this set I'm kinda glad that she did it. 🤣 This set is much nicer than what I had. You get so many different tools in this set and they come in a nice zip-up carrying case. Both the straight and the thinning pair of scissors are made with high quality Japanese stainless steel. I was surprised at how sharp they were. It'd be super easy to cut yourself or someone else, so be extra careful with these. They cut very smoothly and are extremely comfortable to use, even for larger hands. There's a finger rest, non-slip handles and removable inserts in the thumb holes. The set also includes a cleaning cloth, tweezers, comb, hair clips, razor and 10 razor blades. This is a set that can last for years, if you take care of it. I'm very happy with the quality and value of this set.

Wow the blades on these are so sharp I am very pleased! I recently cut bangs to hide some postpartum hair loss. They are constantly growing out and it isn’t exactly so easy to get my hair trimmed whenever I want. I specifically needed the thinning scissors (the jagged tooth ones) cause they make you bang line a little more natural looking. After makeing a very blunt cut with some cheap hair scissors I learned my lesson haha. These come with two scissors, brush, hair clips and an old fashioned rasor blade which I thought could be cool for my hubby to try. There is a box of blades that slide onto it. Its tricky to get the hang of but it indeed gives you a much smoother face! I like this as I am the one punished by his prickly stubble 😆

My daughter is a preteen and went on a girls trip for 2 days with her class. She came back with the knots and mud and stickers in her hair and trying to get them out was impossible. We literally had no choice but to cut her hair. She didn't want anyone to see her like that so we needed some type of haircutting scissors as the cheap schools ones we have would not do the job without butchering her hair further.The thinning scissors were a lifesaver as this knot was on top of her hair and she had 14 inches of hair knotted up. I couldn't believe an adult didn't make sure these kids brushed thier hair and let this happen. The back we had to cut right at her shoulders and the sides were able to leave a bit longer. This set cut well and even has clips to help us portion pieces off to work on one section at a time.All the pieces come in a very nice storage case. The tools are very professsional and easy to handle and use. They also look like a million bucks with that gold and black design.

Lol, on first usage the black plastic gem mounted on scissor tension adjustment screw fell off and rolled away on the floor. No problem…I think it actually looks better without it. Only used once so far but the scissors cut well. The tweezer has nice sharp edges but wider than a tweezer man ( about 1/4” across head) so are a bit clumsy for getting fine hairs without scratching skin. The clips came spotted with rust and have rough edges and definitely need to be sanded before using. Am torn between returning and trying to upgrade but I estimate the scissors alone, if truly Japanese stainless steel, are worth the price of the kit

With all the salons and barbers shops being closed these days, I decided to take matters into my own hands.. I decided on this set because it was the best value.. and so far very pleased with it!I have cut my daughters hair and my hair, Also I have trimmed my 3 boys and husband..and with very little experience under my belt, I am pleased to say that this set, is high-quality enough to give professional results. It’s also a beautiful looking set, and would actually make a great gift.And at an amazing price!I will be getting many years of use out of these! Just about everything you need is in the package for a good trim.. The scissors are comfortable to use, very sharp, lightweight and easy to maneuver. they have gotten lots of use, over the past couple of weeks, they are holding up extremely well! Very happy!

They come pretty sharp, some companies on here send you dull barber sheers, and the razor blades that come with the straight razor are very sharp too

After just using the straight-edge scissors once, the hinge started coming undone. I let the seller know by sending an image and they sent a replacement of the whole set with a kind note. The set itself is attractive and of very good quality. I've used the straight-edge scissors and layering/thinning shears so far and they've exceeded my expectations. I used to use the scissors that came with my Wahl electric razor, but these straight-edge scissors are far better quality and replaced those.
