Brain power
I am almost 80, a writer, teacher, artist. Before I work with my editor, paint, or teach...if I feel the least bit sluggish in the a.m., I take one of these. The effects of normal focus lasts for at least 3 hours. If I have to go to an evening event but feel weary, I take one tablet, even if it is for the second time that day. It has allowed me to participate when normally without it, I would have declined attendance. I have had no adverse side effects, only better productivity and alertness. I don't take it everyday. I just use it 3 to 5 times a week for the past three or four years. Have a bottle at my desk and another on my night stand for sluggish mornings. Helps for driving long distances, too.

Great product to help you get going each day.
I purchased several bottles of this from a flea market vendor at $1 a bottle. After taking one pill each morning it made such a difference in being able to wake up and get motivated and started each day. I didn't realize how much they were helping until I finished one of the bottles and couldn't remember where I put the other bottles. For 2 months I was just so exhausted and scatterbrained. I went online to see how much these cost and was shocked at the $40 price. I was able to find another bottle from the flea market vendor and ran out. I checked on Amazon and wow the price was half! Thank you Amazon for dropping the price I can handle $20 a bottle. Definitely great product. This helps more than my Adderall does. I only take one a day Even though the dosage is 2 per day.

Works great, but price fluctuates constantly
I love this product. I've suffered from ADHD my entire life, even well into adulthood. I've tried supplement after supplement to help me find a good level of sustainable focus. This is the only one I've come across that really provides me with that.I do take prescribed medication as well, but as strong as my meds are, they're not always enough. I've found an almost perfect combination of meds and supplements using my prescribed medication, Ginko Biloba, Active Mind, and 100 mg of caffeine pills twice a day. I'm a large dude with a high tolerance for caffeine so this might not work for everyone. But I sleep fine, and focus pretty great.I'm glad I was able to find Active Mind on line. The first place I found it was at my local K-Mart when it was closing, so I got it at like 90% off, which was freaking awesome. But I bought all their supply and my only other local option was Walgreens, because WalMart doesn't carry it, but Walgreens sells it for like $50 a bottle. Then I looked on Amazon and found it for less than half that. The only problem I've noticed is the price seems to fluctuate a lot. I can buy it one month for around $18, and the next month it'll go up to $25. That's not a deal breaker, but it's very frustrating. If I could buy a lifetime supply of this stuff, I would, but no one is made of money, right?

works to keep me alert
I have used this product for mental clarity for almost a year. as I have aged, I found myself forgetting simple things and not being able to focus as well as I wanted. Since I started taking this product, I am no longer forgetful and my mind stays clear. it is not as expensive as some of the other products advertised for mental clarity. I am 77 and work in retail sales.

One of the best notropics you can take
I found this a long time ago and it has been a time proven notropic! My only complaint is it is so expensive! I only get it when it's on sale for $23.00, otherwise I have to pass.

Don’t has 1000 mg
Please note that although this bottle has "1000 MG" emblazoned on it in large letters, the capsules themselves only contain 500mg of Citicoline. If you read the small print, it says "per serving," and on the back it makes it clear that a "serving" is two capsules. That's fine, but don't splash "1000 MG" all over the bottle when you have to take two of these to get there. They're 500mg capsules
