ALMManufacturing ALMQT043 Drive Belts-Qualcast

Purchased to repair a Qualcast 380 hedge trimmer. Was a perfect fit but I needed to shim the motor to prevent the belt riding off the sprocket. This was due to some wear on the hedge trimmer motor mounting. The trimmer is now working great again !

It's one of those jobs that you imagine will take all afternoon, but in fact took me less than 15 minutes. OK the belt does strip when the hedge trimmer jams on a too thick branch better that than damage to the motor. So, I shall be buying spares in event of the problem of stripped belts occur again.

It's okay, does the job, how long it will last is anyone's guess! First supplier, Spares 4 U, failed to meet the order, They were a waste of time. After Two weeks cancelled order with them and reordered.

This company did what they said and item was exactly as described and arrived within 48 hours, great service, would recommend them to anyone needing spare belts in a hurry. Thank you ALM

although sold as a replacement for original it is slightly slimmer than the original but is doing its job and fingers crossed it will last as long as the old one
