As a new home owner I've been experimenting with some home fixes here and there. I lack experience so as I was replacing an old shower head, I applied too much force on the shower flange like a rookie and the 30 year old flange cracked, twisted, and I knew I screwed up big time. Luckily with some research I found out this tool can be used to insert into a pipe thread and you can twist it out. I purchased this set and sure enough it worked exactly as shown. Plumbing work in my area has been costing an arm and a leg for anything and I know this time would have been no different. Saved myself $500 by ordering this set, great product. and in the end I was able to successfully install my new shower head, did alright besides scraping off the chrome finish on the connection- rookie mistake I know.
