This vintage coffee bean grinder is wonderful if you're after a display piece or a more 'traditional' means of grinding your beans in the morning; sure, an electric grinder IS WAY easier, but manually grinding coffee beans in an all metal and wood grinder is such a satisfying experience.I purchased this as a gift for someone who has been thoroughly researching making fresh coffee with coffee beans, but is somewhat of a technophobe (and loves having what I would typically call 'tat' littering most shelves...)Suffice it to say, this vintage coffee bean grinder made for the perfect gift, allowing one to manually grinding their own beans through the combination of mechanical cogs and muscle power, to be rewarded with freshly ground coffee and a unique ornament when you're finished with it.

I love coffee and start my day with a fresh cup. This vintage-looking grinder caught my eye more for its look than its possible functionality, but I am very pleased with both; it looks great and grinds coffee to the powdery consistency that my filter needs. It really looks great and would make a nice gift to someone else. Coffee is produced tasting great, in line with my expectations. Taste and looks, I could not be happier.

Looks great, easy to use. The winding mechanism seems a little weak & rock side to side in use but so far seems strong enough.

This grinder looks good and does grind coffee beans. However, it takes a lot of time and effort to grind more than a tablespoon of coffee beans. There is a bit of adjustment as to how fine/course you can grind. Looks nice in the kitchen but I think I will be purchasing an electric grinder.

perfectly worked!

The media could not be loaded.  the gears are plastic. and my one the smaller gear isnt even attached correctly so its doesnt even turn the big gear so cant even try and grind anything. its just an expencive paper weight

Looks great and the handle on the side makes it easier to hold still as you grind. It is a shame the little draw doesnt even hold enough for 1 coffee and the chamber for the beans is a little too small and awkward to fill.

OK, wir haben diese Mühle als Pfeffermühle im Einsatz (immer dann, wenn man mehr benötigt), aber das geht auch gut. Optisch ein Highlight. Die Verarbeitung ist sehr gut und präzise, die Mechanik einfach nur im schönen Retrolook.Auch das Holz ist hochwertig verarbeitet, ein echtes kleines Möbelstück....

Ho comprato questo prodotto perché sembrava proprio simile ad uno più antico che aveva mia nonna da piccolina. Una volta arrivato a casa ho constatato che è uguale alle foto che sono presenti nella descrizione. Abbiamo provato ad utilizzarlo e ne siamo rimaste soddisfatte. Onestamente avevo paura che fosse un po' piccolo, invece è abbastanza grande da macinare una buona porzione di chicchi. È troppo bella l'estetica, a parer mio, è un bel regalo per gli amanti del caffè
