UPDATE: my previous post regarding this product was “made right.”The seller reached out to get more information and sent a new set. They arrived very quickly and work perfectly! Highly recommend.PREVIOUS MESSAGE: So disappointed.The gloves arrived, but there are no batteries, despite the description saying batteries are included. The shipping box was labeled as containing batteries, and the tabs intended to preserve the life of the batteries were in the bottom of the bag, but no sign of them anywhere. 😔Update-I even bought the CR2016 batteries for these gloves since they were NOT included as advertised. Still didn’t work. 😔

Totally completed my son’s Marshmello costume! The gloves are a bit big on his eight year old hands but he ABSOLUTELY ADORES them!!!! The laces went in pretty easily, but on some of the shoe grommets I had to gently pull them through. Worth every penny to see his face light light up as bright as his new accessories!Here are some things to know:The set comes with FOUR extra batteries! I could kiss the manufacturers for that part alone!The glove has two attached parts: The outer knit glove which is two toned to look like layered white gloves with black fingerless gloves over it. Then the lighted interior liner which is a thin spandex material. They won’t be super warm but they are wicked cool!The gloves run big for little kids. I have small but grown up hands and they were even big on me.BE CAREFUL TAKING THEM OFF - My ten year old tried one on and wasn’t careful and he pulled the lighted inner glove inside out and tangled it up. It was a half hour process to disentangle the inner glove and then re-situate the interior fingers into the corresponding exterior fingers.The laces are definitely kid sized. They fit my son’s size 2 high tops perfectly. The seem like they might untie easily but we won’t know until later tonight when he is running around all sugar high from Halloween candy.The packaging is nice with a cute little thank you card. To the manufacturers I say “No, THANK YOU for making such a cool little set and for the extra batteries that we will most certainly need since he won’t stop turning them on and off!

Shoelaces arrived in working order, but the gloves didn't work. Upon further investigation, there weren't any batteries installed nor were there any sent along in the package. Messaged seller; they responded quickly and were very helpful. I was sent a new set that arrived in working order and had the replacement batteries as advertised. I am completed satisfied with my experience.

8/2023: The seller replaced the items without issue--shipping was quick as it always is! The replaced items were clean, new, and worked great--so well, in fact, that 10 months later, they still work! After almost a year of tying and knotting, the lights in the laces are just fine, and the kids get just a little bit "too" excited about turning the lights of the gloves on so that just the middle finger is lit, hmmm ;) Overall, great product, especially for the price, and tons of fun for Halloween and any dress-up play thereafter!10/2022: I've ordered a replacement, so if all goes well I will absolutely update this review, because these products are really cool! The quality of the gloves and laces seems good enough for the short term--they are intended for a Halloween costume, and seem like they should hold up just fine. However, the items we received were defective and had clearly been used or returned and then just sent back out with new stickers put on them. The glove was burned out, and hey, things happen--but the shoelaces were dirty and still smell like cola. Then they were wrapped in such a way that you couldn't see the damage until you unpackaged them. Pretty unhappy about that discovery.

The gloves are hard for a child to use. The inner liner slips out when they take them off, and the lights get all messed up. It was a PAIN putting it back together each time they would get taken off. One of the shoe laces stopped working after 3 light uses. They both put off great light and were very pretty. I would saw they are only good for a few wears.

The media could not be loaded.  This really brought our Marshmello costume together! The lights on the fingers were bright and all settings worked. The shoelaces took a beating and still worked for multiple occasions. Settings on shoelaces are awesome too.I would purchase again. Son was happy

My 11 year old granddaughter loved the set. On receiving them, she found a song to dance to in the dark with the gloves on her hands and using a shoe lace in her hair and another around her waist!

My son wore these one night prior to Halloween for about 2 hours. One set of shoelaces stopped working. The gloves looked cute but were difficult to get on. The inside part of the glove was much smaller then the actual glove making the fingers not fit. We ended up not using them again. I’d look for another product!
