I am very happy with this item. Some reviewers complain about the small size, but I wanted something smaller than another glass pot I have, because for the other one, the optimal amount of water for one "flower" is lower, and so the taller flowers don't get to spread up, plus it does not look as pretty with the pot only 1/2 to 1/3 full. I subtracted a star because I made the mistake of getting the "fruit flavored" one and it is artificially flavored. People who choose to drink green tea are usually in part motivated by wanting a healthy drink, so it is weird to add artificial flavor, and I did not expect that. But there is an unflavored option (the white tea), plus you can get other brands of blooming tea that do not have artificial flavoring. Also, it seems very delicate, so it is not an appropriate gift for everyone.

This was a gift for a friend and she loves it. The teapot is enough for two small cups of tea and the teas are lovely.

I am totally delighted with this product. I’ve bought several other similar product sets and this one pleases me the most. The teapot is just an excellent shape for blooming teas. It’s tall enough that taller designs can fully expand and rounded so it magnifies the bloom inside slightly in a pleasing way. I had tried to figure out the ideal vessel capacity for most blooming teas and had decided it’s about 20 to 24 ounces. At 17.5 ounces with a very desirable shape this is the best I’ve found so far. Most of the others either have squatter 15 ounce pot that does not allow bloom to fully show and tea gets too strong too quickly or they have 40 ounce pot in which the tea bloom seems lost. I also own a 24 ounce pot with straight sides and love its capacity but wanted one with curved sides for the way it enhances the appearance of the bloom within. So far I’ve only brewed one pot of the teas (since the order was delivered about an hour ago) but I find the design attractive and the flavor good. So I’ve put all available flavors on subscribe & save. The price of the products is very competitive too. I believe it is actually less than competing brands. All in all, I really love this product. I sent one to my friend as a birthday gift also.

I bought this as a gift for my tea loving daughter, for Xmas. I admit, I should have read more in depth. But it was Xmas time...and moving time!#1 ITS NOT RETURN ELIGIBLE so no matter what, you are stuck with! I typically would NEVER purchase from Amazon if it's not return eligible. Shame on me!#2 It's TEENY TINY... you might as well pick out a beautiful clear mug & some blooming teas. No, REALLY teeny tiny!#3 You CANNOT HEAT THE WATER IN THIS...so you have to boil water elsewhere, add to this pot, THEN pour in your mug. Ugh. Again, JUST BUY A CLEAR MUG AND SOME BLOOMING TEAS for a much better gift!
