Got a pair of these installed outdoors and they work just fine.

Didn't work
Didn't power up or work at all. Even using a factor made 1' patch cable plugged into POE switch

Very poor quality
Bought 15 of these guys and this far I’ve had about a 70% failure rate. There is nothing for the RJ 45 to snap onto like any normal connector. Most of the time I am getting an intermittent ping in end devices. This injector appears to be working all the lights are on and blinking appropriately, however cameras are bouncing up and down. Replacing these with a different model has worked every time.Don’t bother with these, spend a little more and get something that works.

They work as intended.I had one that went out in about a month, but the seller was easy to deal with and honored warrenty. I have bought it again.
