The ELP ESSENTIAL Alumbre en Piedra Alum Lumps is a essential addition to my medicine cabinet! These 2 oz lumps are easily crushed using my mortar and pestle. I am currently using it as a deodorant, mixing it with some distilled water and essential oils. I will also be using this as a insect bite salve as well. I am so satisfied with this product to use in all my household medicinal needs. Thank you!

I know this ingredient is in deodorant so I decided to try it by itself and it really does work I like that. I try to be as natural as possible since the other deodorants that I wore in the past would stick to my skin is difficult to clean off and clogged my pores but this does not. I also read that this helps out with canker sores I don’t currently have a canker sore I can’t wait to try to see how it would help heal it.

The Alum I was most aware of, was the kind you can mix with water and gargle to help with canker sores. Since the bottle specifically states for external use only, I wouldn't recommend doing that with this product.This is pretty good for external skin issues. Works well to make salves and other treatments to help with skin issues. Though you wouldn't know it by reading the bottle as it makes no attempt to give directions or suggestions on how to use it.

This product comes in small stone-like form, which can be crushed into a powder for many uses. It is 100% alum stone, for external use only. It has anti-inflammatory and healing properties. It can be mixed with any moisturizing cream to add moisturizing benefits. It is anti-bacterial and anti-fungal. Create a paste with some powder and a few drops of water. Rub over rashes or mosquito bites. Add more water to the powder, and you can use it as mouth rinse. It kills any bacteria in your gums and teeth. It can reduce plaque. Use it as gargle if you have a cold or flu. It is a very ancient natural remedy, and eliminates the cost of purchasing some more expensive, chemical remedies. Keep one of these in your medicine cabinet.

There are different forms of crystalline compounds, all known as alum. The potassium alum form is the one used in pickles. With this particular product, it is impossible to know which kind of alum it is, but from the labeling warning against internal ingestion, it is obvious that it is not the kind used in pickling. These are medium sized lumps. Worked to remove mud from water

I used to use old spice but after multiple chemical burns from the new line I no longer use that stuff. I use all natural like this! This cancels out the smell so there's no scent but you won't smell badly either! Been using for about a year now. Oh also if your not sure check your deodorants as most use alum too!
