Nature Republic Soothing & Moisture Aloe Vera Cleansing Gel Cream 150ml/5.07oz

I started using this nature republic Aloe Vera Cleansing gel recently but observed that my skin becomes dry and tight after a few minutes. I probably will wait and see if the results changes.

It's good to do basic allergy test before using anything. You don't have to do what I do, but for guidance sake, you can consider what I do. On a weekend, I pick a spot on my right jawline, place a bit of the new product on and have a bare face that day (streaming shows is a good time passer). If in 24 hours that patch is still good, then I go. So far, I've been lucky and haven't reacted to anything, but I do it anyway. Real life skin horror stories aren't fun.I use this as my first cleanser and follow this up with the Hada Labo Rohto Gokujyn Hyaluronic Acid Cleansing Foam, 160ml (I got mine from my mom, but I see that it's available on Amazon). I follow up with Olay Age Defying Classic Daily Renewal moisturizer (you can find this at Safeway, Walgreens, Bartell Drugs or what have you; this moisturizer is my holy grail and I've been using it since 2000 or so). I've done this regimen since Thanksgiving, before that I didn't do the first cleanser, just L'Oréal foaming in the shower and Olay moisturizer afterwards.After using this Nature Republic extra step and switching from the L'Oréal to Hada Labo cleanser, I find that my skin feels softer and smoother. Make up seems to glide on easier. My make up bag is filled with Sephora and drug store products.

It is difficult to find cleansing jell. I’ve been using this for a while for double cleansing with foam cleanser.

I would definitely recommend this cleanser! I use this cleanser with my Clarisonic and it lathers very well. I do leave it on my face for a few mins after it lathers before rinsing it off so it can really latch onto the oils. When you rinse it off, and rub a bit on your skin, the cleanser loosens your dead skin so can actually rub the dead skin off with the dirt. Your face will feel REALLY clean afterwards. I recommend using a good moisturizer with this cleanser (I personally use the Snail Repair Cream, by Mizon).

This product disappeared for awhile and was reformulated. The scent is the same. Very minimal, clean smelling that disappears afterwards. Great for people sensitive to fragrance. But the new formula doesn’t foam and you have to use twice the amount as the old gel.
