Newton's Cradle Pendulum Balls Balance Ball Decoration

I got this for my son’s 10th birthday and he loves it!

The moment my granddaughter opened the box, it got tangled, she never had a chance to try it like always wanted to, what a mess, the whole party stopped and everyone tried to fix it, she gave up, never experiencing newtons cradle mesmerizing addiction.

A string broke off the ball.

For starters mine didn't sit flat on the table so the motion of the balls makes it rock back and forth and lose all the energy. Balls will click like 6 or 7 times at best. After carefully propping up two corner to get it flat on the table, find that balls are not aligned due to strings being slightly different lengths, so energy is lost sideways instead of transferred straight to the next ball. Should have tested it before giving it to a child. Now it's in the landfill.

Box had already been opened, was ripped and squashed so it felt like we were getting a returned item.Balls did not hang in a straight line parallel to the silver bars, instead they were on an angle.Had a small knot in one of the strings, out of the box.If you tried to set two balls off, the two at the opposing end didn’t move together in tandem like they are supposed to. If you set a single ball off, the hall at the other end only moves once. Perhaps caused by not hanging correctly.

Looks cool. Doesn’t work like it should. Loses momentum very fast
