The mounting system is much better and more stable than the pincer-grip one I had previously. Fits in my vent well.

Very well designed and convenient to use

This thing doesn’t open wide after the 3er time I used it. I bought a different brand for my other car and so far was perfect but not this one. Waste of money on this phone holder

We have an older model car with pretty deep vents. This clip works great - I was surprised at the amount of depth this clip had. It would fit on ANY vent in either of our cars. The clip ratchets in place, pulling the mount back and sandwiching the vent between the clip and the mount. With the vent in our primary car, this holder locks the vent in place. So I'm essentially losing one vent as it's pointing up and away. But I'm gaining a nicely positioned phone.

This is my second purchase of this phone holder by Bluker. Excellent product and sturdy design. I fabricated a custom mounting as my classic cars do not have vents in an ideal location. Good value and good service.

I have not used a car-vent holder for absolutely years. The last one I had just rested on one of the slats and, unsurprisingly, did not work well and did not last so I have been mentally scarred for a long time re car phone holders. After a quick search on Amazon, I chose this one due to cost and decent reviews. I was perplexed when I took it out the box but a quick read of the simple instructions and it was fitted to my car air vent in a couple of minutes. I was pleased with how sturdy it felt in the vent and how it kept my phone secure. The phone grip is released by pressing two side buttons and it softly slides open. (I always imagine fighting with a tightly sprung grip and my phone flying across the car so I can safely say this is highly unlikely to happen with this holder). I will update this review after some longer term use if anything declines but, from what I have seen so far, this holder is fantastic value and does exactly the job it should do.

This phone holder is compact and does just what it's supposed to do but better. The mounting for your cars air vent is adjustable so once it's positioned on your vent you turn a nut and it locks it tightly into place. It's not possible to over tighten it as once it's reached a secure fit there's a satisfying "click" and it won't tighten any further. The phone holder is mounted on a ball joint so it can be positioned at just about at any angle you want. And once you've decided just where you want it to face then you turn a little nut and it locks the joint into place. Your phone itself is held in place by two sturdy side grips which can be opened by pressing one or two of the small push buttons located behind the mount. I just love the way in which the side grips gently open, it gives it a quality feel. In addition there is also a support plate that your phone rests onto which helps keep it nice and snug. The support plate is designed so that your phone can still be charged when it's in the holder. Overall this is a great piece of kit and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of it for the price that I paid.

As others have said, this thing stays put and is easy to put phone into and take out of. I found it really easy to install. At first when I pushed the hook thing in, I panicked, as I struggled to get it out at first (as I wanted to change the place it was going.). Turns out it was pretty easy to get hook out by just pulling it out at a different angle. Yep - best phone holder I’ve had so far.

It does the job if you have managed to attach it - it can be a bit fiddly and clumsy. However, once done - it works perfectly. The only thing I have noticed is - the button release feature is not as good as it started with after a month's usage. However, it is not causing any problem, the phone can be still taken out.Update: 2 months later - release mechanism has stopped working and now it is difficult to put the phone back or take out of the holder, it's a battle that I was not expecting.

Took a while for me to figure out just how it actually fixed in to the vents, didn't realise you need to extend the hook fully first, as usual the instructions and diagrams aren't very clear, at least not to me! However once I worked it out, or was very easy to fit and seems extremely sturdy, well pleased!
