Can be used indoor and outdoor. Requires battery but very lasting if you turn off. Easy switch in back and battery spot. Definitely a must have for any nerf fan

Great product for an 8yo. Works great for target practice and easy for the kids to use on their own. It too big or burdensome in the house. Stays together nicely and feels like it will last a while!

Each target accurately registers hits on the white part of the target so that's great. However, the built in small plastic flip out kick stands have a hard time keeping the targets upright after they are hit by Nerf darts or Rival rounds fired from a normal Nerf Elite or Rival blaster, so need to be mounted to stay upright and/or properly facing the same direction. The larger main target is much more stable than the smaller ones when hit with darts.The bottom of the targets don't have grippy surface on them, so will slide around when placed on hard surfaces. If the kick stands were bigger and better held the targets in place when hit, then they'd be much more convenient to use.The main target flashes orange 3 times each time it is hit and doesn't seem to ever deviate from that pattern. However, each of the three smaller targets have three different reactions.For each of the smaller targets, the target flashes orange once the first time it is hit, flashes orange twice the second time it is hit and then stays lit up red for approximately 5 seconds the third time it is hit. Then the cycle repeats for subsequent hits. This is a nice feature.

The package shocked me when it came because it was so small. Couldn’t be used as described. My grandson was very disappointed in his birthday present. So many better choices to select.
