Buy two sets to have enough pieces
You really need two sets to make something big enough. With two sets my grandsons are enjoying making cool forts. Can be a little tough to fit some parts together and the sticks bend and break easily.

Misleading & disappointing
The directions state to find the "x" on the connector balls- not a single one had an "x". This affects how you connect the poles otherwise you cannot build angles. Actually inserting the pole into the connector ball required a bit of adult muscle, my kids could not do it. There are 3 inspirational pictures of different style forts to build. My kids wanted to try the igloo which we attempted (with many re-dos because we had to rotate the connector balls since they were not lined up properly due to afore mentioned missing "x.") only to find there were not enough connector balls to actually build the igloo or the other 2 pictures shown. My kids are disappointed, I am disappointed. It it like false advertising and poorly made. Definitely being returned.

Functional but not perfect
The first problem I ran into is that there were not enough pieces to create the structures in the directions in the box. So being creative I punted and made a structure that works for my toddlers. Second problem is that the sticks pop out of the balls if the structure is jostled. Not a problem, once I find a configuration I like, I will add some adhesive inside the holes to help keep everything together. The massive plus to this is that is you are limited on indoor space or are looking for something outdoors that is inexpensive this is your product. This does require tlc and acceptance that it’s nit the most sturdy product out there.I still like this product even if my husband doesn’t

Hard to put together but works well
I bought this to make myself a work from home cubicle, and it works really well for that. I am 23 and I work out regularly, and putting these connectors together made me sweat. A little kid could definitely not do this by themself. I used normal fabric as my “fort” walls and I don’t know how well it would hold up a blanket or something heavier than a sheet. Overall it’s great for what I needed, especially for the price.

Fits Perfect with our Lakeside Collection set
We got a set of these from a magazine called Lakeside Collection in 2015. There were manufactured in Ningbo China (according to a manufacture sticker). This is the EXACT same set that we have had for the last 5 years (the manufacturer's sticker is slightly different, but manufactured in same location. We got these when my little was 4, and they have provided hours of fun over the years, but recently some fantastic creations need MORE STICKS. After ordering one set to make sure they were the right ones, I ordered two more. So fun to play with for all of us!

Not really worth it and needed 2 kits to do anything
Very difficult to put together, holes in the balls are very awkwardly places and SUPER tight. Biggest issue is that it seems that I am 4 balls short of all the pictures in the directions. I was forced to buy a second set which means I could have just got the "good" set for 40, got the amount of balls to complete a project. I did manage to find that the half an igloo did assemble. IF you manage to get the poles in good... It is partially stable, but it takes so serious work to get them in the balls. I don't recommend buying... Get the 40 dollar kit

Not kid friendly — don’t waste your money
Ridiculously hard to put together, some of the ball connector pieces had holes that the poles would not fit into, my ten year old cut his hand on the poles trying to make them fit. It took forever for us to assemble something resembling a fort structure because there really aren’t enough of the connector pieces to make anything, the structure we did finally complete was barely able to withstand sheets over it. If I could return this I would!! Do not recommend!
