RAMP

Could be doing with some kinda of legs in the middle to take the spring out
Very springy, some supports in the middle would work well, don't think am gonna get much use out of it, but will see. Overall I'd say for a confident dog it works but nervous dogs not so much so maybe think about the dog and you expect him/her to react to it

Excellent for times when space in your car is limited
We bought this to use on holiday for our aged Labrador (40kg). Whilst we already had a sturdy metal dog ramp, it took up too much room in the car when carrying four adults+dog+baggage. The foldable ramp is nicely compact and fits easily into the boot of our car next to the dog. It’s lightweight and made of plastic and, whilst not as sturdy as our metal ramp, it is more than adequate for the dog. It does flex slightly under his weight, and it can be a little slippery in wet weather. We simply hold his harness to guide him up the ramp. Having returned from holiday, we’ve carried on using it daily and, after 3 months, it’s still working fine.

It is good value for the money compared with other options
I bought this for my elderly collie-x. It is good value for the money compared with other options. However, a couple of things i would say on the downside.... the joins are not brilliant so you need to kick each one to open/close properly but it seems to be holding up ok. Also the surface is pretty slippery, so i have had to get creative with some rubber matting and glue to create something for the dog's claws to grip onto. This has added a bit of weight to the product, but as it's so light overall, i'm happy with the minimal additional weight from the rubber mat. Overall, i'd say, that you get what you pay for... and compared to other products on the market, this presents pretty good value, even if you do need to make some adjustments. My collie doesn't love it, but he does go up it and it's certainly preferable to him trying to jump up as that was starting to be a real problem for him. Also it doesn't take up too much room in the boot of my estate car - even with 2 dogs in there.

It does bow as they walk up it .
My six month old puppy will not go up it yet . Am taking it in gradual stages . It bows under his weight , I think that’s what he dislikes. 37kgs . I will persevere and incorporate it in his training. Got mine reduced as the box was damaged. I would advise everyone with a puppy to get them used to a ramp . He will walk on it on the ground .today have given up! It bends too much and frightened my large puppy . I am having to buy a stronger one .

Sturdy enough, can catch fingers when folding up!

Didn't work for us
I like the idea of this project, but unfortunately it did not work for us. I find it is less effort to pick the dog up then to try and and folders, it takes up a lot of space and I found it quite heavy. I know the way it is on there and I should've checked first!

Waste of money do not buy this
My dogs (Springer Spaniel & Labrador) refuse to walk up it, the ramp is far too steep and flimsy and does not stay in one place as it does not attach to the car. When I managed to get my dog onto the ramp, the ramp moved to the side and my dog jumped off in fright.
