I was asked if this item came with a lid and replied no but it was a mistake as it DOES come with a lid.

I have been looking for a replacement for a high end eyeliner pencil that I have had for years. I have searched all over for an appropriate alternative, but most are too soft for my style of use - I smudge it into my eyelash line and then blend for a smoky effect. Most other pencils are too soft for this and I end up with mess all over my eyes. This one is perfect, and does the job exactly as I like it. I think the description is slightly misleading though, this is an eye pencil, not a kohl (which in my experience is much softer than this). So in summary, not super soft, but not too hard either, and suitable for vegans. I will definitely repurchase.

I bought this as an eyeliner, but as other reviewers have said, it is too hard to apply to the eyelid. However, for me, it is great as an eyebrow pencil - just the right shade. Often, brown eyebrow pencils are either very dark brown (nearly black), or so light that they are almost gingery. Will purchase this again as an eyebrow pencil only.

I like it, but I wonder why the first one I bought was better than the second one. The first one , more than one year ago was softer and worked much better than the second which is harder and it definitely colour less. All in all I like the product and all BWC products.

Really hard pencil. Too hard for delicate eyes and really poor colour. Not black at all. Not worth it

I like that this product doesn't involve testing on animals or include animal products. I found it to be an effective eye-liner. Creates a nice effect and is a lovely colour that complements green eyes, going on smoothly and easily without dragging the skin. However, I hoped it wouldn't make my eyes itch as so many other eyeliners do...but it does, so it was disappointing in this regard [only].

I found the kohl pencil to be a bit tricky when applying it as it dragged. I would’ve preferred a softer one.
