Much better for dusting than combo brush
I find this brush vastly superior to the "combo brush" that came with the Dyson Gen5 Detect, especially for dusting. Bristles are soft-ish and finer than vinyl bristles so they can dislodge dirt from tiny cracks and crevices. Clicks into the Gen5 easily and securely.

A good horsehair brush should be soft. This brush isn't soft.
While this is better than the stock Dyson brush in that the shape is better and the bristles are thicker, a good horsehair vacuum brush, and I've had them, should have soft horse hair so it will not scratch the items being dusted and will pick up all the dust. This brush has bristles that are stiff and feel synthetic. It's a disappointment.
