Perfect replacement for the original porcelain rods
These porcelain rods were a perfect replacement for the originals from DCS. They're easy to install and fit the rack that holds them as if they were an OEM product. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase these again.

These were exactly as expected. I also ordered the replacement metal holders and the grill is like brand new.

Have replaced ceramic rods on grill twice with OEM and now with these. No difference. but price.
Have 20 year old DCS grill located at the beach the entire time. Stainless steel exterior is in great shape but interior requires periodic overhaul. Have replaced the ceramic rods and related steel tray 3 times, the first two times at considerable expense for this ceramic rods because there was no alternative. Now there is.

I've been searching for these on the internet and stumbled across them on amazon. price was perfect!! refurbishing an older DCS grill and this will make it look like mew. found the burner and heat shield on here too... pumped to have it all installed..

Good product
The ceramic rods work as designed. Problem is the design of the DCS grill. Rods difficult to clean of grease drippings

Thinner, smaller in diameter and more fragile than original lower overall sear temp
If you want the same performance as the original DCS buy the OEM original ceramic rods. These are thinner, smaller in diameter and more fragile than original you get what you pay for I guess. These smaller rods do not fill the space in the same way and shift when you move the grill due to the smaller diameter.
