Cultural History
I found this book gave me a lot of insight into the cultural history of New York City. My ancestors lived these through these times. Some remnants were still extant while I grew up even though family no longer in the city. I throughly enjoyed the book, and all the footnotes while even looking up a few, so I could read whole articles.
