Heavy but solid and work great.
Don't drop it, you'll be sorry. Heavy but rock solid.I never have, and it's rock solid and it's glass. It's not light like plastic but it is durable as heck and I don't worry about it over heating. The knob is very good. worth the price.Great product but a tad on the heavy side if that bugs ya, doesn't bug me.

Excellent glass microwave cover
My husband and I do not want to use plastic in the kitchen anymore, where food is concerned, so in an effort to rid ourselves of the former plastic microwave cover, we opted for this. So far it's been awesome. The black handle never gets so hot that I can't touch it, a plus. The glass feels sturdy and thick and its easy to clean by hand or dishwasher. so far the handle doesn't jiggle or wiggle or feel like its coming loose. I really appreciate this product in my kitchen. I have also occasionally used it on the stove top while I'm cooking in my cast iron pots.

Sturdy, works, easy to clean.
*Slaps hood* This baby will hold up even when your wife hits 30 minutes instead of 30 seconds on the microwave! No more cheap plastic junk that gives you trans and you can't clean. Use a regular sponge and dish soap to remove those bean explosions, and you're off to the races!Disclaimer: Gets hotter than the sun. Please microwave responsibly.

Worth the money!
Expensive but worth it!! I’ve only had it for a bit but it’s heavy and durable, of course like with any glass item need to be careful when using it. But worth the investment and no more plastic!

Works great and looks nice
It is a bit heavy like the reviews said but it's been great. I love how it looks compared to our old plastic one! I like the idea that it's not releasing poisons and what not like plastic...

Wanted one for years, finally found a high-quality glass item
Seems like I just get my microwave clean then something I'm re-heating decides to have a small explosion and undo my work. I'm working hard to eliminate the combination of plastic and heat as it relates to food so I didn't want a plastic food cover and the paper towels with which I'd cover my food never seemed to do the trick.This glass one is very well-built and, after using it for a couple of weeks, I'm very pleased with it. I just keep it stored in the microwave when I'm not using it. I'm washing mine by hand but it is dishwasher safe.
