This necklace is a true gold color. The charm has some weight to it and moves from a side profile to front profile with wear, which catches interest. The chain is substantial, not thin and fragile. It does tend to kink (as pictured) but when I was wearing it I didn't notice it happening. Unfortunately, the clasp is very difficult to function. While it's a large clasp, it's very hard to pry open enough to latch to the link. Overall, I think this is a good necklace for everyday wear. It's casual but also classic. Just wish it was easier to clasp.
