This NEMA 6-50P to 14-50R adapter is amazing. I do a bit of camping with a friend who has a camper. I need to have flexibility with adapters and bought this converter.It works great. You never know what kind of plug you are going to need in a camp site. This adapter gave me the flexibility to adapt and accommodate my charger needs.The cord is amazing strong and the adapter end are made of a very sturdy rubber/plastic that works great.The adapter also have nice black handles you use when pulling the adapter out of the plug. That’s a nice touch.This adapter works great and I highly recommend it.

I have a 6-50R outlet at my work and I needed an adapter to connect my EV charger that uses a 14-50P.There are 3 pins on a 6-50 whereas the 14-50 has 4, and the reason why it still works for EV charging is because the neutral is not needed nor used for EV charging.This adapter basically adapts the 6-50P to a 14-50R where the 14-50R's neutral is not used. If you have electronics that require a neutral, this will not work.For most EV chargers, if not all, this will work. The cable is very thick and I feel confident in it to be able t pass 50A. Everything fells well made and the 14-50 side (female) has a handle.Overall, great quality adapter.

Just what was needed to fill out the emergency charging cords and adapters kit I keep for charging my EV on the road. The charger I keep in the car for charging while visiting relatives or for emergencies is a combination Level 1/Level2 charger with four pin NEMA 14-50P plug. Some commonly available power sources accept the three pin NEMA 6-50P plug. This adapter fits the bill perfectly to convert from what is available to what I need. In my case, most of my charging is done at home or at Level 3 chargers on the road, but when faced with an unusual circumstances it is reassuring to have the ability to charge with power available in almost any configuration.

This adapter from "welding plug" NEMA 6-50P to standard EVSE socket, NEMA 10-50R works very well. The grip on the 10-50 side is sturdy and welcome. The 6-50P group is standard ok feel, wish it had a bake or something a bit more to grab on to. During hours of 42A charging, the whole adapter and cable kept cooler than the EVSE power cable! Good buy!

I got this YOMILINK NEMA 6-50P to 14-50R EV Charger Adapter Cord. It uses heavy duty 6 Gauge Wire, which is 16 Inches long. The cable is well made. The wire is heavy duty.Note that the cable is certified by ETL, which is a peer certification organization to UL.

This is the thickest, most heavy duty cord I've seen. It has to be 1" in diameter. It doesn't get hot at all when charging so the wire inside must be just as heavy.It's nice to have high voltage stuff be so well made that you don't have to worry about a potential fire hazard or other issue.This works perfectly to charge my EV from home. I plug this into a 3 prong (NEMA 6-50) outlet and then the EV's 4 prong (NEMA 14-50R) charger plugs into it. I get a strong level 2 charge that outshines the streetside charge stations. No need to have a charger installed in your home if you have a 3 prong usually dryer outlet near or in your garage.Highly recommend.

I purchased this to keep in my charger kit when travelling. A couple vacation rentals that had 'EV charging' had 6-50 outlets which I could not use. This will give me the flexibility I need when renting.As this is a 'just in case' item, I have not used it. I can say that it feels heavy duty. The plug and outlet ends look molded to the cable. The cable is stiff and thick. It looks well built. The 14-50 outlet was very tight. It took effort both to plug my charger in to it as well as to unplug it. I have no worries about my charger coming unplugged.There are some discrepancies in the product listing that leave me with some uncertainty. First, it's listed as 18 inches, but is only 16. The shorter, the better in my opinion as there's less risk in heat build up. However, it concerns me that something that needs to meet electrical standards is not more accurately described. Additionally, one of the product pictures states 10 gauge wire (which concerns me for 40A continuous loads) while the product description states 6 gauge (which is what I'd want for this).There is an ETL stamp on the plug mold. I don't know if it really is certified or not. The first time I use this, it will be during hours I can periodically check it for over heating and build confidence in it.
