Really odd design, the pump is on the side so if you blow up and air mattress it a. Takes a very long time and b. You have to either hold it or wedge it to stay pumping it up. I wouldn't recommend it other than it's size being compact it has nothing else going for it! My friend thought it was a vape and tried smoking it at boomtown which was very entertaining I might add though.

This unit is compact and very portable but appears to have a high pitched whine that makes it as loud as a regular vacuum. So if in a hotel room where you may want quieter operation you may want to consider this. I bought it to vacuum seal my outfits for a trip.

I got this to inflate an air mattress when I go car camping, especially because it's much smaller than the usual kind that has to be plugged into a 12V or 110V outlet. It moves almost as much air, but is barely larger than an iPad charging brick. However, in order to do this, the blower and motor have to turn very, very fast. This creates a high-pitched shriek that's also incredibly loud. It's a very unpleasant experience, but it's also unavoidable given what it must do with its diminutive size. Fortunately, it doesn't have to be used often or for very long. I don't regret getting it. The shrill screech of the blower/motor are just something of which folks need to be aware.

Used this to both inflate and deflate my air mattress for camping and it does a fantastic job! The light is nice, but the real value is the speed and size of the pump. Based on my experience I could probably inflate and deflate 10 times before recharging.
