Van HeusenMen's Tall FIT Dress Shirts Poplin

I saw this shirt on Amazon clothing, and it looked beautiful and “I thought” it would be the right size. I have a large muscular neck as I work out a lot . But the rest of me is about a 2X. My next size is 20, and when I received the shirt the neck fit perfectly but the rest of the shirt was absolutely HUGE! I swear, it had to be a 5X or something, it literally swallowed me whole. You could fit two people inside this shirt. What I don’t understand is how the neck could fit perfectly and the rest of the shirt be gigantic. I ordered a 20 inch neck size with a 34/35 inch sleeve. I measured the sleeve after I had tried it on and it was 36 1/2 inches. Needless to say I couldn’t wear the shirt . It would have just looked ridiculous with my suit. The odd thing is it’s a van Heusen shirt… Which is traditionally a good shirt maker. Maybe I just got a dud by accident. The point is, I was extremely disappointed. Even though it’s more expensive, the only true way to get an accurately fitting shirt is to be measured for it. I was bummed. It was my favorite color too. :(

The xl tall fit was great for my 6’5” and athletic build husband. It was the first dress shirt that is close to the right sleeve length. My big issue with this shirt is it’s claims to be wrinkle free, it came with massive amounts of wrinkles. Then after being laundered, it needed to be ironed. He put it on and drove to a wedding reception, again it was full of wrinkles. I was happy with the sizing overall but the material just seemed terrible so for all the work I had to put in to minimize the wrinkles on a “wrinkle free” shirt I give it a low rating.

Good quality and design. Packaging is ridiculous. Takes a good fifteen minutes to get all of the pins out and the other dozen or so packing pieces. Normally, a 3X Tall shirt fits me about perfect. I took this one out of the package (eventually) and tried it on and it was huuugge! I washed it in hot water and it shrunk a little bit, but is still a very, very large shirt. I have a 54" chest and 36" arms and I was swimming in it.

I really wanted a nice new white shirt that I could get around my size 20 neck without feeling strangled. This one did not disappoint. Long enough that I had no "plumber's crack" showing when I kneeled down. That's ALWAYS a worry. I am 6 ft. 1 in. tall with a long torso so decent shirts are not that easy to find. This one did not disappoint and washed up well. The arm length (35" ) was perfect, too. I just may get a few more of these because I am so pleased! It was packed in original packaging, pins, cardboard, in a plastic bag and as New. It arrived quickly enough that I was able to wear it that weekend. Very Happy with my shirt!

This is a decent dress shirt for the price. I have not purchased clothing like this in a long time and it fits as expected although next time as a 6' 1" individual I will go with the 18.5" neck over the 18" it fits well but a slight more room would be nice. I also chose the 37"-38" arm length and fits well although I may try an inch shorter next time. The material may not be the greatest but its still comfortable and as for the non iron its as advertised came out of the dryer quite nicely although maybe not perfect but well enough for my needs. Altogether im happy with the purchase.

This is a great shirt for the tall guy. I’ve always had to pay 50.00 and up to get a shirt that was wide enough in the shoulders yet slim enough in the waist while having long enough arms and tails. This shirt for 27.50 is a great buy. I logged on and bought a second as soon as it arrived. Perfect all white shirt for suit or casual. Sleeves long enough to shoot the cuffs with a coat. Well made. You can’t go wrong with Van Heusen.

Due to two back surgeries this past year, my husband has gained a lot of weight around the middle. He confirmed this just a few days before we were to attend a wedding, when he discovered that none of his dress shirts would fit around his belly and brace. There are few options for Big and Tall clothing nearby and the stores that we do have are very expensive (especially as we are hoping that he will get back to his former size.) We were able to order this shirt from Amazon in less than 48 hours (Hallelujah!) It was great! We liked the fabric's feel and the cut of the collar. As expected, it was loose around the neck, but we knew that would be the case since we were most concerned about it fitting the middle. I would definitely recommend it for any "King-sized" gentleman.

I'm a large man and found it difficult to buy a dress shirt in any men's store locally. Couldn't even order a 20" neck. This shirt fits perfectly with a generous cut. Quality fabric and good stitching. I would definitely recommend this product.

Good quality product, collar and sleeves are a perfect fit,.. however because this came via the "big and tall" section the length was very long,.. I'm 6 ft tall but the shirt was very long. So easy fix, cut it to the correct length as per one of my other shirts, and have a good friend who sew's and will hem the cut shirt to the correct length.

I bought these for my husband who is short and a bit heavy. He likes a longer shirt that he can tuck in and it will stay put.These fit well and quality is excellent. I would not have ordered them except the return shipping is free if they don't fit. I am ordering more.

Shirt fit okay but the collar was too small for the shirt size and the second button is way lower then the top button, if you don't wear this with a tie then it looks ridiculous.
