I own 8 of these knives. Very well made , balanced and feel comfortable in the hand. Hold a nice edge too. Sad to find out they are made in China with German steel. I always thought they were made in Germany 🇩🇪 But they are lovely. I enjoy using them daily.

I use Them everyday. They are strong, sharp, and sturdy. They look very nice hung up on my wall as well. We bought a magnetic wall mount to display these knives in our kitchen.

I rated them 4 stars because of the packaging. Didn't bother me at all. My husband just used the kitchen knife to chop celery. WOW. He told me to order more so I ordered 3 more. I highly recommend them. If you are buying them as a gift, have them sent to you and rewrap. Don't let the comments about poor packaging stop you from ordering these knives!

These knives are awesome. They are solid, heavy knives that stay sharp. We have other HS knives and love them too. You really can’t go wrong with HS. Get a roller sharpener and you’re set.

These knives are beautiful, have great weight, balance and just feel great in your hand and look gorgeous over my stove! Haven't had them long enough to see how well they hold an edge but I'm sure they will do just fine.

Packaging aside, My biggest disapointment is with the handles. The rivits are not flush with the wood nor are they rounded. They are sharp cylinders that make it feel like an unfinished product.I don't care about packaging. I just want a good product but mine did have the small knives floating in the box as well as the tip covers. Just FYI for anyone who does care.However, they do look great and cut very well.

I was very disappointed that the seal was broken on the box of the knife set and two of the knives had the covers removed. This was to be a gift.
