My grandson was excited to get this for his birthday! He had one and lost it during Hurricane Michael!

My little one loves this book. Every day she gets up and looks at the book and decides what she wants to make that day. The whole family gets involved and it is a lot of fun. Very simple recipes.

I bought this for my 9 year old granddaughter. The format is kid-friendly and NOT intimidating for children. The recipes are great and I will use some of them myself. I researched cookbooks for kids and this was one of the few that teaches how to make a "real meal" for the family. We have already made several recipes including pancakes, guacamole, Baby Bam Spaghetti and Meatballs, and delicious baked corn-on-the-cob. Everyone loved the Baby Bam Spice that adds a little zing to the food. A great first cookbook that teaches much more than baking cookies and cupcakes.

I checked this cookbook out of the library thinking my kids would enjoy cooking. Turns out we've all enjoyed eating!! Most kid cookbooks are terrible-how to make a sandwich, how to make mac and cheese from a box. Not this one. We've found our new favorite pizza sauce, our new favorite pizza crust, fantastic cinnamon rolls, and even a really good turkey meatloaf. So far, not a single disappointment!I highly recommend this book for kids or beginning cooks. Or even bad cooks. Nothing makes cooking easier or more fun than a good recipe! These recipes are tasty, pretty easy, and very well explained. My only complaint is that the graphics are cartoony -I'd much rather see real photos. That said, I'm ordering this cookbook myself because there are just too many good recipes in here to copy them all down!

Nice gift

I bought this book for my 11 year old son after he had checked it out at our local library and really liked many of the recipes. Rather than keep renewing the book, I decided to buy one for keeps. My son has found the joy of planning and cooking recipes and serving them to family and friends. He also went through a spell of having to TiVo Emeril's television show and watching it after school. I have loved to cook/bake since I was a child and now it is fun to finally have my kids show an interest in actually helping me with making dinner!!

My daughter loves it already made some of the recipes in it

This one is better than the other ones he has written for kids. It is a little more straight forward and easier to follow for my 7 year old bright light great grand daughter. She likes it.
