So far it, a ok.
well the right clamp that attaches to my 22mm handle bar tighten up well with the supplied spacer, but the left one did not. I had to add an additional spacer I had on hand. Also be careful when adjusting the black extender bar. Make sure theckamos are VERY LOOSE. I thought mine were loose, and they were, but when gently sliding the extender bar from side to side to get it even, it scratced, seems to scratch very easily. I’be not taken the bike out for a long ride, just a test lap around the neighborhood, so not sure if it will loosen up quickly. Still concerned the left bar clamp may still be a bit loose, we’all see.

Shorter than it appears in the listing
This is a lot shorter than I thought it would be. I had to mount it upside down (which worked out) to actually use it or it wouldn't even make it past my display or cables. If it won't tighten on your bars like it would not on mine, wrap electrical tape around your bars where you're going to put it. Do NOT over-tighten these screws. As others have said they seem like they're just waiting to strip out so I went gentle and it seems to be ok. Only some riding will tell. I have it on my fat tire e-bike for trails but I don't think I'd use this if I was going to be doing enduro or downhill. And yes, I'm a bit of a light freak. :)

Get what you pay for
*I did not get this item for its intended use*Due to a disability, I could not use a throttle right handed on a trike I bought. I added this extension to the throttle itself so I could use it as a lever. Works so far with modification. Better than the vise grips I was using before anyway.Had to remove the plastic pieces that came with it for sizing and use rubber. Don’t know why they would make those out of plastic, they don’t keep it from moving. The bar itself has plastic end caps that look cheap and will probably fall out eventually. I used some extra tape to secure it and keep it in place. Probably wouldn’t buy again, there has to be something of better quality out there.

Cheap plastic tube.
Does not feel like carbon fiber. It feels more like a cheap plastic. Does not fit normal size handlebars and you do need more spacers to securely mount on bike. It is a hollow tube basically with caps on both ends that falls off. I would not recommend this product to anyone

Easy to install and sturdy
I bought two of these to add handles to a treadmill, because it wasn’t designed for people as tall as I am. They work perfectly! They were easy to put on, they’re nice an sturdy, and they added enough of an extension to finally make me comfortable on my treadmill. Now I use the treadmill every day, so this extension handle might help extend my lifespan…

Just OK
Its OK. You get what you pay forThe red anodizing has come off all the top edges. This is how it looked when I unwrapped it.I would look for one that has a clamp that is in 2 pieces. It's a pain to remove all attached hardware on the side if the handle bar that you want to install this unit.Revising: I did not notice the hinge point for installing on the handle bar, my bad. This will make it a lot easier to remove and install.

Scratched the rod when installing...
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. This bar extension is decent and held not only my phone and it's mount but also 2 lights and it felt pretty solid even going 35+ mph on my Scooter... only real issue I had was when installing it I had to twist the bar through the mounts and on one side is had a spiral scratch... other than that I don't have many complaints, not sure how well it would handle off-road but it should be fine...

works great !
This product allows for the "fitting" of several different styles of "bar-bags". This is the "second" one of thesebar-extenders that I've purchased. It works great and the price is MORE than reasonable!thanks!Ed

Carbon tubing so thin
Material: plastic (stem clamp)Tube: although its says carbon, its more than a carboard tubing in carbon design.Installation: beacuse its plastic it seems its going to break if you tighten them up more, not holding the handle bar good its still loose, it will stand heavy load like celphone or gps. 🤷♂️Verdict: ReturnTip: get a good solid aluminum bike clamp and buy a copper or aluminum tubing and paint it.

Doesn't stay in position
Clamps are lined with cheap plastic that slides around on the handlebar. Bar doesn't stay in position as a result, rotates up and down, especially during rides. Not good to mount mirrors because it doesn't hold them in one place. Bolts don't tighten enough and get stripped easily. You will have to use tape, rubber etc. under the clamps to hold the bar in the desired position.

Decent with minor install issue.
It does its job once installed but the spacers supplied do not allow this to grip the handle bars sufficiently. If you use some tape around the bars before you mount this it will stop it from moving.
