On plugging in socket ok, when removed from socket splits in half very dangerous so disappointed with purchasing.

Handy enough for the price although can get very warm (hot) depending on the output. Something that semi-conductors do not normally like. Did the job however.

I got this to go with a new Ugreen usb 3.0 three port hub with card reader. I got it so I can run a WD My Passport HDD which needs around 500mini amps and an old USB Samsung Blu-ray writer that needs about the same amount of power and as a single usb 3.0 port only only provides around 900 mini amps and I could be drawing 1000 mini amps or more I decided to get this 2000 mini amp adaptor so my devices won't be starved of power so I plugged this adaptor in and I haven't had to think about it since. It just works and my Blu-drive and HDD are working in tandem through the hub without fault, I have since ripped a large number of my personal collection of films and TV to the hdd from the blu-ray drive which is a very intensive task often taking well over an hour each film, so if anything would show un stability this is surely it and I'm happy to say I haven't had any issues.In short this is great stable little usb power supply I've really hammered it and it's going strong.

What can I say, it's a plug! I've only been using it a few weeks, but so far so good. It's sturdy, and charges my Kindle quickly enough, and that the cable fits in the top makes it easier as I have low down wall sockets. All in all an good buy.

I purchased two of these adaptors for charging phones.An issue with these adaptors comes to light when i plug a lighnting charging cable into it. It just stops working for some reason. Maybe the output of the adaptor isn't high enough to keep up with the demand or maybe it can't accept that type of cable.Considering how much i paid for two adaptors i expected better. The usb port from the top of the adaptor instead of being placed on the underside of the adaptor is a nice touch for anyone whos sockets are closer to the skirting board (so sockets are quite far down the wall) but for sockets such as a kitchen worktop or even just a decent height this bends the charging cable and puts strain on the adaptor usb port as its constantly being pulled on.3/5 at best.
