Read the instructions
At first I thought this was a failure purchase. I thought the mount was all floppy. But after reading the instructions I realized the only floppy was my intelligence.This thing is pretty cool. Once you tighten the middle part, all parts tighten. So all you have to do is hold the camera that is mounted on it in the right spot, and then tighten the middle piece down, and all articulating pieces tighten at the same time.Do not be a floppy. Read the instructions.

Perfect for vendors lights
Will work perfect to direct the light in my vendors tent. Will be buying more.

Seems good so far...
Seems sturdy, let's see how long it will last. I know this is silly but I knocked off a star because the knob is not red. That doesn't matter but I did choose this brand over another because of the red part as I was trying to match my rig setup. I'm OCD like that, sorry.

It works as intended
much stronger mount for DSLR camera but still looks flimsy. Wish they would use bigger tubing.

Strong, versatile, exactly as advertised.
I use this mount for cameras and lights. It is strong and easily manipulated to any angle. The only downside is that I did not get a longer version for a bit more reach.

Useful positioning arm but clamp broke almost instantly
Attached the clamp to my ergotron monitor arm for a Elgato Key Light and seemed to be going well enough but as there was some looseness, I went to tighten further and the tightening clamp snapped off but the clamp stayed attached. Subsequently had to wiggle back and forth to get the clamp off, scrapping away paint from the arm it was attached to. Disappointed and definitely don’t recommend based on the durability I encountered.

Seems sturdy but loosens easily on bike
The main screw lock on the elbow seems to lock the ends in place as well. It's not as intuitive as I was hoping. I put it on my motorcycle and it kept swinging around. I thought I had it cranked down. I later tried it again in a different spot and really reefed on the tightening screw and it kept it tight (I wasn't even going up to the speed limit both times). I'll play with it some more but wish it was longer and the ends were easy to tighten.

Strong articulating arm at a great price
The UTEBIT articulating arm and clamp are extremely well-built and affordable. This is not a light arm built from hollow metal; this rig feels very heavy and solid. Setup is simple. I am using this versatile arm “backwards” by mounting it to a tripod and clamping a light to the end, but I feel there is really no wrong way to use it. I have included a pencil in the picture for scale.
