Much easier to install than the old one and much brighter. I highly recommend it.

I put this one example of this product in the laundry closet of our apartment, as it had no built in lighting, and it seems to be working really well. Light flicks on as soon as the door opens and stays on the whole time. Light shuts off a few seconds after the door is shut.--What I like most is its simplicity, don't even have to mount it, just lay it on a surface and works just fine. If you do decide to mount it, the plate has three screws/drywall anchors that will attach to the wall. The light itself is detachable from the mounting plate.--Pro: Even though I am using only one of this product for right now, it's soft blue-white light fills the entire closet, even just laying on the top of the dryer.--Con: There doesn't seem to be a way to direct the light, meaning the bezel itself does not move, you can however mount the light to whatever surface is best for you and directly illuminate whatever area is needed.--Unknown: I don't know how long the three AAA batteries will last as my product gets used occasionally, once or twice a day and not much longer than 10 minutes at most.Overall I am impressed by how well this works and I will be buying several more over time for other small unlit rooms, cheaper than lamps and no cords to trip over. Only complaint I have is that, as good as the light itself is, it wouldn't hurt to be a bit brighter and have a moveable bezel. These are just small niggly complaints, not enough to drop from a 5-star to a 4-star.

I put it upby the doorway in garage. (sadlt garage light is broken right now)It brighten up nicely, enough to go my way in garage.It detect movement real good and light up quick.I am glad i bought this.

Despite these motion lights going through several batteries (it holds 6), overall i like them. They do pick up motion very well even though they are NOT real bright they do the trick. i installed one in my pantry while we remodel and it doesnt brighten it as if it were an actual light bulb but it shines enough to see what you need. long story short, you get what you pay for.

It says to twist the back off to put the batteries in but no one in my family was able to do it. Very disappointed because I really liked the design other than that.

I had an electrician over to my house and he told me he would have to make holes in my walls in order to put up an electric light with a on/off switch. I said for get that, I didn't want to repair holes in the walls. I wanted a light in the stairwell going up into the attic. So he showed me on line(Amazon) that I could purchase these battery operated motion detector lights. I ordered two of them for $20.00 dollars along with AA batteries (each lamp needs 6 batteries) and my son and I put them up in about 20 minutes. Easy to install, the light is bright and when you open the attic door to go up the stairs the light goes on automatically and when you are in the attic coming down the second light goes on first and when you get half way down the steps around the bend of the stairs the other light goes on automatically too. Very pleased

This is our second home where we have used theses lights. Work great and are easy to install. They provide light where needed in closets and dark corridors.

I am very happy with this light. It notices your motion easily and is bright. It was installed in minutes.

It was very easy to install and it is the perfect brightness. I installed this light above my shower and it makes my bathroom feel way fancier! The only issue I have had is that sometimes it turns off while I am still in the room, but then you just wave frantically at it until it turns back on

It would turn on once batteries are in but wouldn’t turn back on. Left it for the 2 min recommended, then 5, then 20 and still didn’t work. It was bright, just didn’t stay on or turn on again.

Got the light for the outhouse up at our summer property, works as expected, plenty bright.

It’s more like a dim nightlight rather than one to light up an area.
