Womens Plus Size Medium High Impact Non Wired Zip Front Black Active Sports Bra

I bought this bra to use in the gym and am fed up of the usual hook fasteners digging into my back so was drawn to the zip front fastener which works really well. The size was perfect and while I don't think it holds them in place in a solid lump it's good enough support for my use, which is using the bike and rowing machine in the gym. Is OK for a run, better than not wearing one :) They're no longer dangling down by my knees or giving me a black eye if I'm engaging in vigorous activity so I'm happy. When all my hard work pays off in the torture chamber, I mean gym, then I'll be back to buy a smaller size.

Here's a topic my wife will fall out over. Let's just say that during strenuous exercise self restraint isn't enough and she needs a bit more help to constrain herself.I like to be a helpful guy, but I cant be around all the time when she's either heading out or returning from exercise.Now, the saying goes that for somethings you need eyes on the back of your head. However, for putting on and taking off sports bras my wife needs arms and hands round the back of her head.So we looked for solutions and what sprung out at us was front fastening sports bras. We had tried this before with an Asda product and sprung out was the operative term. Sprung out and propelled across the room was the result as the proclaimed size was never going to hold things together for long!So she's tried this one which does hold things together but with an elaborate multi locking system akin to the type used in security vans. The outcome is that I'm still gainfully employed for gathering up, securing and releasing. However unlike cheaper alternatives the size is better therefore the risk of a high tensile projectile incident is reduced.

The reviews here are varied but seem to mostly be spot on. This bra is very comfortable, fits well on a larger breast, and easy to wear all day long. However, I wouldn't call it high impact, unless perhaps you get a slightly smaller size?I've worn it for a full day of very hard labour clearing a garden for new fence panels, and the open back kept me relatively cool and the bra kept everything in front in place whilst I was bending over pulling, digging and moving rocks. I would certainly feel confident wearing this in the gym, but maybe not for high impact, unless a smaller size is the key to solving that problem.The straps are "slightly" padded, feel good, and I wasn't dying to take my bra off at the end of the day as I usually am with my normal bras. I will be getting at least another one, but I think I will try a smaller size to see if I can get a firmer hold next time.Note: The one I bought I can pull over my head, which makes me think these are very generous sizes and perhaps I need to go down a size.Overall. I think it's a bit overpriced, but otherwise a very nice bra, especially if you are well endowed :)

I was pleased to find a zip front sports bra in plus sizes, they are very hard to find. The bra is of very good quality and well made. I liked the flap to stop irration and 2 hooks behind the zip.I am a 46G and chose my actual size. I am pleased to say that it is a perfect fit and kept everything in place when I went to my aerobics class jumping around

This is the second sports bra I've bought from Orchid. It's very comfortable but I find the hook and eye a little fiddly as I've osteoarthritis. Good quality and comfortable. I didn't purchase for sports I broke my collarbone badly and as I can't have surgery due to the nature of my clotting and blood thinners it is the only sort of bra I can wear. A good and personal service from a very caring company. I just wish they did various colours. The straps are padded an additional quality. I will purchase more. After two operations this is the best out of my collection of post surgery bras, I have several others which are pretty good but this one seems to give the right amount of support and compression so is the one I wear the most. The zip up front makes it easy to put on especially straight after the op. I was advised to wear something quite loose after my first surgery which I did but soon learned that it was better to wear something that restricts the movement of your boobs! I having been wearing a bra 24/7 and only use my others when this one is in the wash, which isn’t for long as it washes well and dries really quickly, so it is only usually off for a couple of hours.

I'm really glad this is comfortable as I hoped. I'm a size 12 with a H cup, and I hate wearing wired bras. Needed something that supported me without the squeeze. Does.the job. I went a size up on on my back. Very very comfortable

It’s supportive, looks good, a bit difficult to zip up when your on the large side but it’s a good brae.
