My oldest grandson while slicing carrots, something happened and sliced his finger requiring 6 stitches. Now his home and I have these finger guards as anyone can have a similar experience, especially when slicing firm vegetables! These fit on even my heavier fingers by slipping a shield over the outer half or third of the finger and slide the knife blade down as you secure it and cut. Am sure they will prevent many accidents.

Takes a bit of getting use too. Trying to find a comfortable fit is challenging. Takes.a.bit of experimenting

Maybe it's just me. It seemed to get in the way more than assist. Perhaps better for children learning to use a knife?

The concept is strong, but it didn’t work for me.The finger ring is really big & doesn’t even fit my rather large fingers so I can’t imagine how a child would use it. Totally ridiculous

Very good replacement for traditional ring. Love it.

Awkward to hold while you’re holding what you need cut. While I might loose some fingers, I would rather not use this. It does protect your fingers, it does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Great little gadget. But for me, it’s just awkward to use and hold. Easy to clean, sleek appearance and good value for the cost. But just not for me.

I have multiple hand issues and had never heard of these. What an effective tool. Great.
