Bought to replace those incredibly crappy porcelain coated grates for my 3001 Char Griller. I'm taking away one star because they are smaller than the original but they are not small enough to fall inside the grill. Because they are a bit small you don't lose anything because of the missing nubs.All in all they are just what I was looking for.

Bought a while back and have used these coated surfaces extensively. No product deterioration. I find them more useable than just plain cast iron grates. And cost effective.

I got these as a replacement for the regular cast iron ones that came with my faithful CharGriller charcoal grill (I mean, come on, charcoal is the only way to go. Gas is not real grilling. It's just cooking outside). I think they're great. So far, I've only grilled steaks and chicken on them but they worked well and cleanup was really easy. Also, they don't have the little nipple on the bottom ends that a lot of porcelain coated grates have. So there is no problem using them on a charcoal grill. I'm sure they would also work on a gas grill; if you're into that sort of thing. I recommend these grates.
