These are great cameras, image is very high quality easy to use. Wish the app had more recording options with use of cloud.great value.

I love this outdoor solar-powered security camera. It has performed flawlessly since I purchased it. I plan on buying another one in the future. The biggest plus is power via solar. No need to connect any annoying physical cables. Easy set-up and great price-point.

Update ..I decided to keep the camera for it seemed to be a good quality camera as I mentioned prior the app had a couple updates and is more user friendly. it has been cloudy and rainy for days and the camera performed well and still held a charge over 90% throughout. Camera also has not dropped the wi fi connection so that's a plus looking forward to more app updates but for now it will work for my needs.The cam itself seems to be of good quality only had it 24 hours so time will tell the battery seems to recharge well with the solar panel attached been holding steady around 90 percent and the motion is smooth when panning around HD and night vision are acceptable the drawback for me is the app lacks features that are found with apps for this type of camera such as motion tracking and patrol mode I understand not having 24/7 recording that it would run down the battery but not having motion tracking after detecting motion may persuade me to return this item

Easy to setup, but make sure it is really close to the wifi router when setting it up. I tried to setup about 12 feet from router it didn't work, despite a strong signal. Then retried setup about 6 feet from router worked first time. So read the manual! Make sure you use 2G wifi, will not work with 5g wifi.The solar easily provides enough power to keep the camera charged. I noticed it was still charging in twilight around 7.30pm!A 64 G SD card provides plenty of storage, I only record motion videos, so far I have 4 days worth of motion stored on the card and it has used about 300 MB, so the card should capture about 200 days of 30 second videos (at roughly 15-20 motion events per day). SD and cloud recorded events can be easily streamed in the app.The app works well.The cameras are installed outside roughly 30 feet from router and through outside walls. The app states the cameras get roughly 80% signal strength. This is easily enough to stream instantly, with no buffering. Bit rate is indicated between 20-100 KBS depending on amount of movement in stream.Cloud storage costs $30 per year per device for 3 days overwriting, $50 per year per device for 7 days, $100 per year per device for 30 days. Monthly plans are available for roughly 10% of yearly price. You get a 7 day trial of cloud storage for free. I will probably go for the yearly 3 day plan, as a back up to the SD card.

I'm owning Boifun solar camera for about a month now. I like to provide a little late review in order to catch some unique benefits that hard to discover on the beginning. It's never ending enjoyment without any complications!This is the most fabulous benefits I've got so far (searching for more & more):1. IT'S a Solar camera!! Thanks God for the sun that keeps it charged. It means maintenance free for me. You don't have to worry about changing the battery while traveling/etc. You stay always on top what is going on around your home.2. An actual solar panel is not part of a camera by itself. Best ever design made. You might need to place the camera where is the shade and poor sunlight, but your solar panel can go on the top of the roof for the most sunlight. LOVE IT!! Truthfully recommend!3. Holes/drilling free! The most important as previous two AS WELL. works best at the time when you are installing it for the first time and have no idea where to place it where is the best spot/corner. Simply move around to find out the most visible area and have no damage to your siding. Another thought - one night you might need to keep control on the side of the building or you decide to hide it - here you go, just move it. Take this advantage from Boifun!4. It's a wireless camera. So amazing getting notified every time something around your place being not home and guess what?? you are able to talk via the camera and give an instructions to a visitor (if needed of course). You have all 5 stars for this Boifun!5. It's a budget safe!! So so important at those days!!!!!!! Yes...you pay once place an order but just do the math on renting it and paying monthly for?? Pay once and have it forever! Plus you are the owner of it. For example, no need - rent it to your neighbor and get paid. It's even can produce $$ at some point:)Honestly, I cannot stop appreciating it. I have much more to write about it but the Best would be to recommend for you to buy it and start enjoying it as much as I do. Won't be disappointed AT ALL!

I’m really impressed with the night vision on this camera. The app is very easy to use on my phone and I don’t have any problem connecting to the device. It’s also nice to have voice and sound. The solar panel is pretty small and does charge the camera quickly. Due to not supporting Wifi, the only downside is that after the trial period, you do have to purchase a subscription through a SIM card, which you can get at a low rate from your carrier. This would be great for hunters or people who need a camera where you don’t typically have WiFi, but want to view their property. I think this camera is of good quality for the price.
