perfect for 1 of the 2 job i needed it to do
tp be all honest i was not expecting much from the sata card but pleasantly supprised i moved all my mechanical drive from the motherboard to this card and am getting better transferee speeds on this card than the motherboard the only let down was i could not boot linux os as i wanted to from this card on one of my ssd as my bios does not seem to pick the card up as bootable not does the linux os see the drives on the card but still happy as it allows for extra storage may get another so can add some more drives at later date

Instand additional disks
Just slot this in and you have space for 4 new drives, allows me to change from mechanical to software drives without going through some intermeadiate stage.
