The TV Stand Base is as-expected.The stand is sturdy enough not to be a tip-over concern; though I don't have any infants cruising around.The stand is a fixed height, but the tv mounting bracket has a good range of mounting heights for living room purposes. I'm using the second-lowest height on the bracket, which leaves the tv at the same height as it was on my old tv-stand/cabinet.The stand includes screw-in velcro straps for wire control on the back and has space inside the vertical support to route wires. The vertical stand and its wire openings are large enough to feed 3-prong plugs through without a hassle.The tv-mounting bracket supports up to 400mm x 400mm VESA and allows left-right swivel. There is no tilt; the tv is vertical, but for viewing from the couch, no tilt is needed. The base is heavy enough to keep everything stable, and is packaged with nice rubber feet to avoid floor scratches.The base has a black/opaque glass appearance. The vertical portion of the stand is black metal with low or no sheen, so the combo made me wonder why the base didn't match; then I decided the horizontal surface will be easier to clean with the glass, so it may be a well-thought design.The aesthetic style is very simple, and that's kind of the point; I wanted a minimalist approach for a space where wall-mounting was not as good an option. I think that's why they show this in front of a brick wall; if you had drywall, you would just mount the tv on the wall and feed the wires inside the wall. For those of us without a good wall mount option, this is about as minimalist as you can get. I compared this to floor stands that cost 4 to 10 times as much as this, and I liked some of the other styles, better, but this fit the bill for simplicity and low cost.The stand was packaged in a flat-pack box. Assembly was easy enough, though the wide assortment of screws included for different tv made it look like there was going to be a lot more to it. The assembly directions were actually helpful because the different screws were correctly labeled in both the packaging and the manual! That's so rare!

My intended use was for a 32" Vivo Smart TV in my MBR. Yes, this is a small 11 lb unit. But I have no reservations about the design to handle larger screens. If I had wanted it for a max size TV, I would probably secure it to a wall (I lost my 5,000 sq. ft. home in the '89 earthquake). Three large bolts mount the rectangular pole to the heavy glass plate quite securely.The mount had to swivel sufficiently to be viewed from exercise equipment to my bed. The packaging and part labeling matched 1000s of other excellent American and Asian manufactured products. All parts were clearly labeled or were placed in individual plastic pouches properly labeled. The two page assembly instructions also contained pictures of all parts and labels. The instruction steps were quite simple, unambiguous, albeit requiring careful attention to pictures showing part orientation.All parts were perfectly manufactured and packaged.IF you followed the instructions, one would have no problems whatsoever. All screws, nuts, brackets were perfectly anodized (black). I'm 76 and I assembled the entire mount in 1.25 hours.I could easily pick up and move the entire mount and relocate it on my carpeted floor.I highly recommend this product.

I'm on the fence a little about this item. It arrived 3 days earlier than expected which was great. All the pieces were there and it was packaged well. But the instructions are just pictures with no text, which made it a little harder to figure out if I was doing it right. I ended up youtubing it to make sure I had done it right. Once assembled I was a little apprehensive about it holding my TV but it holds it just fine and seems to be sturdy. My biggest issue that I have with it is it is not quite high enough, even on the highest adjustment, but that's more of a personal issue than a product issue. One product issue I do have is that for some reason when it swivels to the right, it lists about 4 degrees down. If it is straight on it is level, and if you swivel it to the left it is level, but swiveled to the right it is not. and of course I need it swiveled to the right to face my couch! I took it apart, switched things around changed the washers, and still it lists down to the right. the bottom is level, everything is level, I took a level and checked EVERYTHING but sure enough everytime I swivel it to the right side its off. with or without the tv on it. I finally ended up putting shims underneath the right side of the base so that when it's swiveled right, my tv is level.

The TV in this pic is 55", the stand holds it up great. It's sturdy and I didn't have to drill any holes in my apartment walls. The instructions were very well laid out, especially the pieces. Would highly recommend.

I purchased this stand/mount because I wasn't set on the final location of my tv. The stand is easy to assemble and very sturdy. Something that I like about the stand is that the tv is very close to the wall almost like it's mounted on the wall.

Received this items on-time and in good condition. It was the perfect size for our large tv, so we ordered a couple more for the other ones we have. It's very strong and well- made and we would recommend it to anyone who needs a tv stand for their large tv's.

Looks beautiful! Very sturdy alternative to furniture stand or mounting on wall. Less to dust and I can rearrange furniture in the living room.
