MADDesign Mother of Pearl Compact Makeup Travel Mirror (Marble Gold)

MADDesign produces (in my opinion) the most beautiful compact mirrors. They are unique, and the creative, and artful designs make each unique. I appreciate it greatly, these are not made with a pin/pop opener, as these fail sometimes. Thus the manual press to open makes the compact one which will last. I pay the higher price, as it is a higher quality than the others I have seen on market!

The pictures don’t do this mirror justice, it is so beautiful and well-made. I look forward to having this for a long time. The packaging it comes in makes it perfect for gifting too.

I tried to capture the sheen of the mother of pearl lid in my photos, because it’s really pretty. The red gift box, with its deeply padded, white satin interior nesting the compact, is also very nice. The mirrors are lightweight but quite usable, and I like the light weight. The metal frame is nothing special, and its edges could be more smoothly finished,, but the latch clicks open and shuts securely with a satisfying “click.”I dinged a star off because of the cheap-seeming edges of the metal frame, but I still love the mother of pearl, the usability and light weight of both the close-up and regular mirrors, and the gift box. So 4 stars is my recommendation.

This product is worth every cent of its value. It is an beautiful gift. I have no doubts it will be treasured!

Exactly as expected, this travel mirror is sturdy and seems well made, plus has a cute design.

This is a beautiful mother of pearl compact - the mirror isn't anything to write home about - it looks more like shiny metal than a mirror (and it could be that). But that also means it won't shatter if you drop it. The MOP is beautiful and I love the different shades of pearls, blues and champagnes in here. This compact comes in a nice box which is shaped inside to hug the compact in place in a soft, satin material. This presentation makes it an attractive gifting idea. The regular and magnified mirrors inside the compact are so nice to have. I use the magnifier to help with brow tweezing and finding any other stray hairs that periodically pop up.The outside of the compact is an absolute work of art!I just love the mother of pearl and floral design which is masterfully created.This is a creation of useable art, art I can take wherever I go!
